Secret 7"

Secret 7" is an exciting project combining music and art in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust. Seven bands and recording artists are inviting creatives to design the artwork for a seven inch vinyl sleeve inspired by one of their songs. The project will culminate in 700 unique vinyl sleeves displayed in Idea Generation Gallery in London in the week leading up to Record Store Day 2012. On that day, each of the vinyls at the gallery will be available to purchase with all of the profits going to Teenage Cancer Trust.

Sunday Best Recordings are thrilled to announce the 5^th December 2011 release of The Cure : Bestival Live 2011, a live recording of the iconic bands fabulous two and a half hour set performed at this year’s Bestival.

The double album, which is split over two CDs and also available as a digital download is made up of thirty-two Cure classics, including “The Lovecats”, “The Caterpillar”, “Close To Me”, “Friday I’m In Love”, “Lullaby”, “The Hungry Ghost”, “The End Of The World”, “Just Like Heaven”, “Grinding Halt”, “Jumping Someone Else's Train” and “Boys Don’t Cry”.

Robert Smith of The Cure says; “We had such a great time in the Isle of Wight at Bestival that we wanted to release this show as a way of thanking fans and islanders alike. Bestival IS the best!”

Rob da Bank, founder of Bestival says; “Since I was 15 and backcombing my hair, donning my sisters eyeliner and singing the lyrics to ‘A Forest’ into my hairbrush I’ve had an unhealthy fascination with The Cure. To say it reached its peak at Bestival 2011 is an understatement, as after seven years of pestering I not only landed The Cure to headline Bestival, but now appear to be putting out one of their live records on my own record label. How strange! For any of the 50,000 who were at Bestival and saw all or some of the two and a half hour set, this live album will transport you back. For fans of The Cure who didn’t make it I know this will be a legendary addition to your Cure collection!”

All profits from the sale of this album will go to the Isle of Wight Youth Trust (Reg Charity No: 1087163). The Isle of Wight Youth Trust is a charitable, independent and professional organisation offering counseling, advice, information and support services to young people aged 25 and under on the Isle of Wight (the home of Bestival) and, in some cases, their parents or carers. The Youth Trust has been working on the Isle of Wight for 27 years and has made a positive input to the wellbeing of people locally. www.iowyouthtrust.co.uk

In a further effort to ensure UK fans get to see the Cure's Reflections show, we are putting on sale a limited number of Gallery Standing tickets, exclusively to visitors of www.thecure.com

Tickets will go on sale at 12 noon on Thursday 20th October, and will be available only from the Royal Albert Hall, either by telephone 020 7589 8212, or at www.royalalberthall.com <http://www.royalalberthall.com./> These tickets will not be available over the counter. You must quote or enter the passcode 9022

Tickets are priced at £37.50 per ticket plus RAH booking fee. They will be limited to 2 tickets per household, and sales will be restricted to those fans who have not yet managed to purchase a ticket. Bookings made by people who have already purchased tickets will be cancelled.

Please note that Gallery Standing tickets must be exchanged on the night for wristbands, AND THESE WILL ONLY BE AVAILABLE ON PRODUCTION OF THE CREDIT CARD USED FOR THE BOOKING. No exceptions will be made. Hopefully this will reduce the resale of tickets...

THE CURE “REFLECTIONS” - SEVEN FINAL PERFORMANCES

Featuring THREE IMAGINARY BOYS (1979), SEVENTEEN SECONDS (1980) and FAITH (1981) played in their entirety.

Due to overwhelming demand The Cure “REFLECTIONS” show - first experienced in the spring of 2011 at the Vivid Festival in Sydney - will be performed seven more times in November 2011.

"REFLECTIONS" sees an evolving line up of band members past and present playing the first three Cure albums live in their entirety - from the punchy, offbeat, starkly unadorned songs of Three Imaginary Boys (1979), through the increasingly shadowy and quixotic pieces of Seventeen Seconds (1980), to the singular melancholic grandeur of Faith (1981) - in a truly extraordinary concert experience.

This final chance to experience the "REFLECTIONS" show will happen in Europe at the Royal Albert Hall, London on Tuesday November 15th, and in the USA at the Pantages Theatre, LA on Monday 21st, Tuesday 22nd and Wednesday 23rd, and at the Beacon Theatre, NYC on Friday 25th, Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th.

Tickets for the Royal Albert Hall, London show go on-sale Friday 30th September 2011 at 9am local time and are available from the 24 hour ticket hotline:
