I've never been at the PinkPOP festival but i really want once to be there, i can say i was once in a festival in THOURHOUT and i just wait and wait after BobDilan, after midnight and i did standed up infronte all day there,since 10.30a.m i was there, I waited in the rain because i didn't wanted to lose my space;just waitting for THECURE to play; good time and lost at the end.IT Was very dark in Thourhout!Memories,Mr.RobertSmith but i want to ask you to come once at PinkPOP Festival, I as Fan would like very much, would be very nice, maybe my first time in PinkPOP to see you there and TheCure playing! I think it's a good ideia.

In Colombia many of us dream of seeing a concert by the legendary THE CURE banda, banda which for many is an icon and living legend. I hope one day fulfill the dream consider your thousands of followers in this country. Greetings from Colombia!

Dear Robert, You and the band have spent a life time dedicating yourselves to your art. Thank God you get paid for it and continue to produce work. I've been listening to your music since 1979. I have spent the last 30 years being thrilled and uplifted by your gorgeous, transcendental melodies and lyrics. Your music has brought me more joy than just about anything else I have found in my lifetime. Your live shows continue to thrill me and I treasure each of the over 40 times I've seen you live. In art school, we spend a lot of, in my opinion, useless time talking about what makes something art. We also talk a lot about why some less talented artists are able to make crazy amounts of money, where countless other, more talented folks struggle along waiting tables while they try to scrape together time/energy to make their work. Obviously, there is a very limited and elite venue for "art". The galleries and museums ultimately control the success or failure of an artist. The presence of a work of art in a museum or gallery automatically assigns value to a piece. In the music world, of which I have no experience, I would imagine it is the same issue. Your work cannot reach the masses without the vehicle of some corporation who is taking a large piece of the pie. There is something fundamentally wrong with this structure. I am thankful that music is so much more accessible cost-wise than 2 or 3d works of art. I am thankful that you continue to make music in spite of the seeming hassles. Ultimately, it is art that can uplift us both the making of it and engaging with it. I beg of you to not be bothered or frustrated by the business and morons that criticize. I hope you can understand how much light you bring into the world through your music (sorry to sound all new-agey!). Those of us who love your music, need this to counter the hardships! This is what matters. You make our hearts so happy. Please focus on this instead of the petty ignorance that abounds. With love and and great appreciation, Daniele
