The Beckley Foundation is a charitable trust that promotes the scientific investigation of consciousness and its modulation from a multidisciplinary perspective. We also seek to change global drugs policy to reflect a more rational, evidence-based approach, shifting the emphasis from criminalisation to health.

Tried the Beckley link on a Mac (just in case of viruses!) but the page won't load. The Wiki page makes it look legit but who knows...

...and no doubt there is still a heck of a lot to learn..not least since we are all using only around 8 -12 % of our brains'capacity!? ;)

As useless as it may sound, I found a nice inspiration a few weeks ago. It's called holotropic breathwork and has been used by Stanislav Grof http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stanislav_Grof in psychotherapy. It should have an effect similar to LSD and activate non-ordinary states of consciousness.
I don't think this has anything to do with Robert! Robert always writes in capitals & signs off with RS!
This seems odd! I clicked on The Beckley Foundation & got a virus warning! What is going on?
Yesterday was booked to play Cloud Chamber, piece for electric violin and cosmic rays... at risk of cutting an importantly lengthy topic too short, in the early 20th century the music "industry" went electric. This was just part of the radical shift in what was possible in terms of a method of communication. For a number of decades then, it had not taken ages to get a message from one mind to another and to receive a reply if the distance exceeded shouting distance...
Ooops...
sorry about the double post... thought it didn't post as I'd put a URL in...!
