Faith

There's nothing left but Faith. Sometimes we all ask THE QUESTIONS. Faith doesn't answer them but you get a sense from the album that other people ask them too and it helps to know. Each of the songs here other than Doubt are really very thought provoking. It's odd, I think in some ways this album is the stand out Cure record and in other ways I wonder how when I never really enjoyed listening to it. Not in the traditional sense anyway. This reissue comes with three very good unreleased instrumental outtakes from the Faith sessions and they are excellent tunes in their own right I think, especially Violin Song. Primary as with the Hanging Garden on the Pornography album would have been better released in its slower incarnation on the second Faith disc, but thats just my opinion! Thankfully, we have both now anyway!
