The Head on the Door was an excellent album when it was originally released and still sounds amazing today and with this reissue we've been treat to a bundle of Cure goodies.
For starters we've got some great high quality home demos of Cure belters Push and Inbetween Days which features what sounds like an interruption by a woman...Mary? It sounds cute and adds a personal touch to the second disc. The demos of songs which are only available on Join the Dots are again, very good quality and the final three bootleg tracks are some of the best versions of those songs I've heard. I would say so far, this reissue is by far the most essential.
