It would have been easy to just jump on the Bush bashing bandwagon and release a political album like everyone else seemed to be doing at the time this came out but hats off to the Cure they didn't. Us vs Them is the only track which couldn't resist. Some people refer to this album as one of the worst, the "rubbish new stuff" and whatever else. I disagree with that, I really liked this when it came out and keep meaning to buy it, it's one of the few albums I dont actually own. Therein lies one of the problems with this album though, which one do you buy? I have seen at least 4 versions of it and each one has a different track listing. Buying online doesnt solve the problem either. And if we did fork out for it, would we be doing it all over again when a Deluxe Reissue comes out in 2 or so years?
