Tickets on sale 9am July 9th
Last night was the most amazing musical experience of my entire 40 years on this earth.
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU
I don't know if Robert read my entry on this website where I said my ultimate would be for the band to play
A Forest
Plainsong
Pictures of You
THEY PLAYED ALL THREE!!!! And Faith too!!
I am not ashamed to say that I cryed when Robert sang Pictures of You.
It is not often that our dreams are realised - this was one of those times in my life.
GUSH, GUSH, GUSH, GUSH, GUSH...
No, sorry, that wont work either.
Think it is because my laptop which belongs to my work has a firewall and/or wont let me download anything it thinks is a programme.
It will let me view stuff on YouTube, myspace etc. though. So hopefully someone will post the interview there.
Fingers crossed anyway.
xxC
When it comes to these guys i am still 13. Robert still hangs on my bedroom wall & watches me as i sleep. I still giggle & cry everytime i watch him (at least once a week if poss) & i am so jealous of my friends who have seen him. Finally here they come again & i still wont be able to see him.
I would do anything to be there so all you lucky, wrinkly teenagers, love him up for me.
Sorry Serena for your circumstances there. Dont worry though, they have a new album coming mid 08, Im sure they will look down- under again soon, watch this space!!
Omg, he played faith after I requested here. I feel so special, thank you. Shame robert spent half the night apologising to the NZherald music reporter -- sucks to be her. But he did chat more, so that was ace.. hehehe. Wish it was louder though, but I can fix that today when I play Festival on 10 :o)
I have a school friend from around that area - she said it's a really nice city. :)
Yes now the long wait for the tickets to become available!
Been 15 years between drinks. Can't wait. Feel like a moody teenager all over again, just a little less hair!!!

Hi All
There has been some mention of a placed called SEBA on Fort Street. Near the Vector apparently although other details are scant and I'm not sure how many are interested in attending.
Flying up from Dunedin on the 14th so personally I'm happy drinking anywhere.
I would neva hve dreamed this in a 1000yrs! Got my tix as soon as I found out. Friends back in SA green with envy. My Cure addiction started around 1986 when I started High school. I had Roberts life-size poster on my wall. I kissed his skew lips every day for as long as it was acceptable. I am mum to two boys aged 11 and 4 - So excited and unsure what to expect from this legend band.
Been a cure fan since 89. I heard the cure were evil so I was nervous at first. Now I own everything they have produced but still missing some dvd's 'sigh'. Hard to measure the impact this band has had my life but their music has saved me a few times. There is nothing more deeper, lyrically, on this planet – and the music has its on emotion. I got my ticket as soon as my credit card allowed. Saw them in 92 and now again. This concert is all I think again at the moment. Thank you for living and being you, Mr Smith and co
...just wow.
Thank you so much guys for an exquisite & incredible show. Oh my gods it was amazing.
Thank you for Faith, that was really special, and the Jumping Someone Elses Train/Grinding Halt combo was so freaking cool.
Jason, you're an amazing drummer, really. I didn't think anyone could fill Boris' shoes, but you've proven that wrong, once again.
Porl, welcome back mate. It's so good to see you back in the group. You always have been and always will be, one of my favorite guitarists. Fuck I LOVE your head tattoo.
Simon, do you age??? Damn you look good, you sexy beast. I'll never tire of your throbbing live bass. Ever.
And Robert... what can I say that hasn't already been said a million times before? Your voice is faultless. Your guitar work is faultless. You enrapture and captivate like no one else.
As a group, you're all looking and sound so good. This is possibly the best Cure line up ever. You guys are rocking so hard, with such an incredible energy. Can't wait to hear what you have in store for us next.
What an awesome night. Again, and from the bottom of my heart, thank you so, so much.
Have a good sleep! Love ya's!

Oh man Push was sooo good. Mrs & I have been jamming that lately, just for kicks. Such a fun song to play.
Incredible show...
So tired...
Sore neck...
Sore legs...
Ears ringing...
Thanks to some Last.fm user for posting their setlist, I just realized I missed one track off the previous setlist posting - The End of the World, which followed The Walk and preceded Love Song. (Also noted below)
keep playing.
come back again.
i need to see you guys play again , NOW !
I'M STILL FEELING THE BUZZ OF TUESDAY NIGHT.
Wrong Number was great.
After waiting in eager anticipation (had my ticket ages)I was sadly unable to attend the gig of a lifetime due to sickness. To make things even worse my Father tried to sell my ticket on Trade-Me so that hopefully another keen fan would get the chance to go, but the mean spirited guy who arranged to buy the ticket never showed up. Hopefully there will be some more gigs in the future so I may get a chance to eventually see The Cure live someday.
Awesome...absorbed it all, beautiful. Thanx come again x C & R
can't friggin wait, watching fest05 now, saw the setlist from w.a. holy shite what a line up
rock hard fellas! big thx for coming to nz.
Please Robert, you guys have to come back. Once is not enough, we want more! I am delighted for the NZ fans who got such a brilliant set and yet there is a tinge of longing and sadness that you left so many other wonderful songs unplayed.
An Asian petition anyone?
Cheers
Jillian
