Tuesday's nite gig was amazing. I'm so grateful I was able to finally experience The Cure live. I've been listening to you guys since I was 13, I turned 25 on August 12th so seeing you was the best present ever.Thank you soooo much for coming to NZ. I have been feeling rather melancholy though, I need to see you guys again. Please Please Please come back soon.

So... the presale has apparently begun, but I can't find anything about what the password is on the ticketmaster site, on this site, or the Michael Coppel site.
I'm lucky to be able to make this gig as I was taking my girlfriend to Auckland for a few days including the Black Sabbath concert on 16th August. The day we get to Auckland is 14th, so this gig is perfectly timed :)

oh my god, tuesday was mindblowing. beautiful... amazing. i saw fuji rock too... both mindblowing sets in totally different ways. ive been in a musical and not to mention emotional deadlock for about two years and somehow it totally lifted me out of it and since ive been playing music and writing furiously, THANK YOU SO MUCH for ALL the inspiration, youve no idea how much!!!!

SO, I WILL DIE HAPPY IF I HEAR THESE THREE SONGS. IMO, A CURE CONCERT WOULD NOT BE A CURE CONCERT WITHOUT "A FOREST".

What a night! Will go down as the best live show I've ever seen hands down. Doubt anyone will ever top that!
All of the 35 songs (!) rocked, and you could tell that the guys love what they do.
Highlights for me, Plainsong, Lovesong, Faith and A Forest, and topped of by being there with good mates.
Huge thanks to the band for coming to NZ. Hopefully a live CD or DVD coming out from the tour?

As there seems much interest but not much organisation I've taken matters into my own hands!! Pre-concert drinks....don't know Auckland well but as someone's previously mentioned Seba (Fort Street)...Seba it is!! Vectors doors open at 6.45. I'll be there early to mid-afternoon. Hope to see a few of you there!!!

Believe me, you won't be dissappointed. Went to their Perth gig on Saturday night with my 14 yr old daugter.
The BEST concert I've ever been to in my long life. The guys sounded brilliant. My ears haven't recovered yet. Didn't miss the lack of keyboards (although they didn't play Plainsong).
Like you, I've loved them long time. Robert, don't ever retire!

Heya Cure fans, im heading off to Aucks for the concert on my own. Never been to Aucks before but this is definitly a good reason for a first time. Just wanting to know if anyone will wanna meet me there (at the vetor or wherever) keen for a pre drinks catch up with other Cure heads.. gis a email if anyones keen taa (its sidecar13c@hotmail.com) then we could swap cell numbers...
