CU there !
I think she's right, I wore a black sleeveless fitted shirt with metallic silver flowers (how odd that i might have matched someone else there), dark blue jeans with black, what people like to refer to as "hooker boots", I just know that i'm a whole inch taller wearing those boots. I did realize that i wasn't attending a summer party at a yatch club.....i was going to see the most awesome band is the whole world...(how cheesey, but true)
just so you guys know, i asked the security people why the hell people could bring in cameras, the lady told me that it is up to the band when they roll around that day, they either say cameras or no cameras, so next time bring 'em, we'll just never know!! nice to know the cure is such an awesome group that they would let us take pics!! too bad i didn't know before, i was in the ninth row, could've gotten really really awesome pics!!!
This was the second time I have seen The Cure and I thought nothing could top the first time, but this was the best show I have ever seen period! The highlight for me was "Killing an Arab" that was amazing!! If anyone has pics of the show please, please send them to me, it never occured to me to bring a camera!

I've waited months for that concert, and I was astonished.. I cried as well when the band came on stage. It didn't last long, because then I was got excited that I had to pee.
I wore a sleeve-less black and white shirt w/ Robert on it and some kind of dress and high tops (to add to the attire trend here) as well as my big red hair and equally red Ruby woo MAC lipstick.
I enjoyed seeing Robert dance (shocking to me!) and it was so much more than I expected. This concert was on my to do before I die list, and being only 17.. I love how much life the band has left for me to see. :)
I haven't gotten any pictures yet, please if you have any you can send them to my email crazyshellfish@yahoo.com, or just email me at that address and i can help figure out something. seriously so bummed that my batteries went out on my camera. And the show was freakin amazing!! never seen anything like that ever, better believe the next time i can see them i will.

I've been sitting here for a while and I'm having trouble putting everything into understandable sentences. That was my first Cure show, and not my last (please!). You guys were unbelievable and I miss you. If my throat would allow it, I'd still be screaming. Best birthday present ever! I'm definitely buying that new album when it's released. You're my favorite group for a reason.
Love ya,
-Kit
P.S.: Tell me section 119 was the best.
I'm definitely interested in photos from this show if anyone'd be so kind as to email them to me...caterpillargurl@cox.net
I just assumed you couldn't bring a camera in but EVERYONE around me had one. Talk about depressing!
Don't know that I would have taken very many anyway! Was too busy singing and dancing my butt off! ; )
what i thought was odd was the fact that i saw a few people wearing edward scissorhands and johnny depp, i even saw a guy who looked like he dressed as edward scissorhands, is there a reference that i missed? or were those people confused at who was going to be there???
While we are on the topic....I can not say that I have a favorite Cure song, but I do have a favorite album...BLOODFLOWERS...play what you will gents and bring it on!
Dallas is way ready for the night to begin!
You're the best!!
Michael
Any chance for KYOTO SONG or THE BIG HAND for "Big D?" I have not yet seen either of these two songs performed live yet, but I have been blessed to have been able to see The Cure live 13 times since 89! Bring on #14 and # 15 in Houston!
You are the best! We love ya!
Michael
you mean a white summer dress with neon flowers, and yellow heels wasn't appropriate? Cuz seriously, i saw some girl with that, and i almost barfed, but i saw a lot of people like that, and well i just thought to myself "what posers", but it seemed like those people just kept flaunting the fact they had close seats, but i wasn't jealous, obviously they didn't get it. hey i'm a mom of three and a lil heavier, and i have half a clue. seriously what was their problem?
Wish I could be back in ChiTown in May but Great add on the show in Austin - Too bad you can't come to see the best hockey in NHL but maybe you'll bring some luck and it will be Sir Stanley and the Cure in the same year....as always worth the wait

It's the morning after and I still cannot believe what I saw last night. It was more than I could have ever imagined.
Thank you.
to all of you, you guys played the hell out of that venue. my best friend and i went, we're only 19 but we love you guys as much as any. i'm a second generation cure fan! when my mom was sixteen, she used to sit in her room and listen you your tapes. she even dyed her hair black to be just like robert! she loves "killing an arab" and i held up the phone when you guys went on--she was so excited, she thouhght you all sounded wonderful. thank you, thank you, thank you for playing such a wonderful show. you guys are fantastic, robert's vocals were stellar and when he spoke to the crowd i nearly died. i'll say it again--THANK YOU--for one of the most amazing nights of my LIFE! i've got every album, you can bet i'm getting the next one!
"eventually that will sound like a fucking record!"
-i wouldn't ever doubt you, mr. smith!
I still can't believe it! The Cure Live! Hey Robert and guys thank you so much for this tour. I had almost given up on getting to see you guys but never gave up hope. And what's better I'm taking my 15yr old daughter with me and she is just thrilled with the idea og getting to see her first concert and it being THE CURE!!!
I'm definitely interested in photos from this show if anyone'd be so kind as to email them to me...caterpillargurl@cox.net
