I enjoyed meeting some fellow Cure fans @ FFB. I hope you all had a great time, I know I did and the 3 hours just flew right by. The boys were really jammin' and I was so happy to get to hear M, At Night and Want. The only thing missing for me was Freakshow and of course, Same Deep Water as You. Maybe next time.....I hope this wasn't the last time!
...it was all over, I now have my dvr set to record the FUSE show tonight from MSG! Can't wait to see the boys on my 52 inch plasma!!!! ooohhhhhwww. I'm in Cure heaven again. Also, today I found The Only One and Freakshow singles at Best Buy...I also picked up the 2 CD set of Seventeen Seconds. I am one happy gal tonight!
Enjoy the show everyone!!!!!
I think we can all agree the Cleveland show was amazing!
We did a silly little video of our trip to the show. Here is a link to it if you are interested.

I also wrote my impressions of the show here:

Sounds like it was a fun meet up at FFB. I hope we will have more time on a future tour to meet up with everyone!
I am so sad the concert is over and long gone!
It was amazing, Robert was lovely. They kicked some major ass!
sigh
Just came in from listening to the Cure Faith album out on my porch. Too freakin' cold to sit out any longer. Let's see today I...also worked out to the Cure, cleaned my house to the Cure...eat, sleep and hell yeh DRINK to the Cure!!! I'm tired but hopefully I will dream of the Cure tonight. I drive my husband insane as well. We have something in common...lol. Tomorrow, I will enjoy a fresh hot cup of coffee and delicious chocolate brownie on my porch...admiring my flowers and yes, listing to the soothing sounds of Same Deep Water as You. Counting down the days til I can see Robert and Simon live again. YES!!!!
Cheers...
Yes Branleeinc - I believe the Cleveland show is making a huge draw from the area. I saw one post from someone in Northern Michigan coming all the way down. I'm coming from Dayton area. I cannot wait. My husband and I are celebrating our 20th (Robert & Mary also celebrate their 20th this year 8/8/88). This will be our anniversary present to eachother! How romantic. We saw them back in '84. The kids are now old enough for me to get away for a few days. I can't wait to see the 'boys' again! C ya'll there on Wednesday!
so he and Mary are celebrating their 20th. huh, that's pretty cool. when i first heard The Only One i thought it seemed to be a sequel to Lovesong in a sense that it was written for Mary kinda as a gift as Lovesong was he's wedding gift to her. anyone else think so or is it just me???
i'll start my count down and my more Cure-obsessive behavior later, if i started now i'd drive everyone around me insane including myself. lol
TODAY MY CURE SONG OF THE DAY IS...........FAITH........
LETS GET THE CLEVELAND COUNT UP TO 200 PEOPLE....
Write you where?! Do you still have that extra ticket?
I might want it if you do. :D
I'm flying from VA to see them in Cleveland. I saw them at the Patriot Center in Fairfax, VA, but it wasn't enough. Also, I was meant to have front row seats, but the ticket place sent me the wrong tickets. I was heartsick. My husband bought me front row in Ohio to make up for it... so I'm on my way.
Question: What's this venue like? How close to the stage can you get? Are they strict about keeping cameras out?
Also, what is there to do in Cleveland? I've never been. Any funky little shops or nifty restaurants I should know about? :)
i'll add a comment again...i saw below that another couple is celebrating their 20th anniversary. well me and my wife are celebrating our 10th and this is our gift to eachother. our kids are small but we have family to meet us in Cleveland to watch them for us. i was so excited to hear that they were coming to cleveland and i tried like crazy to get better tickets but i was not lucky enough to get the front row...maybe next time. it's just a couple more weeks away and i cannot wait!!! i would love to see them open with Push. the head on the door was the first cure album (tape) i ever bought...now i have them all and then some. it's exciting to have so many other people all pumped up about this event. see you all there.
...18 days and counting down!
How about that 'kiss' between Porl and Simon eh? Might we be so lucky to get in on the action??? Has anyone viewed the Freak Show clip on youtube? I think it's from the Antwerp show but Robert is dancing is so adorable. I've been starting out my mornings viewing it atleast 3 or 4 times....It puts a smile on my face instantly!
does anyone have 1 single ticket available? i really want a good floor seat...... coming alone from pittsburgh :)
