Question for the regulars... How did you keep your old "joined" date????

Ugh... I tried to sign in when the site switched over and it wouldn't let me. I had to reregister. :-/
I was just wondering - not that it matters, but I didn't know if you guys just logged on or had to sign up again.

It could be that when I joined originally ages ago - that I used an email addy that I couldn't remember... it's possible! At the old site, I never had to log in because I just kept myself logged on all the time. :-P

Hi, Faithy!

I didn't realize until now that my "join" date is the original date. I believe that I was able to login in. I didn't think it took initially and I tried to re-register with the same screen name and it told me that my screen name was "already taken" :P

I haven't looked at the pics section. Are any of your recent pics there? =)

Faith, I had the same problem. For some reason it wouldn't take my email addy and password. I tried twice then I assumed we would just have to re-register.

So... guess we're both newbies, lol??

It asked me for my email address and password

so I typed them in and then it said I was logged in.

I've no idea how anything happened. But apparently I still have my original joining date. Maybe it has something to do with us regs having no face to face social lives, and thus being on here so often. ;p

well, it threw me because it said "email" to log in. I can't even remember what email I used to sign up for this site ages ago... that could've been the problem. :-P

Mine's whacked a bit, too

I logged on with my email addy. My join date looks to be the date I changed my name once - one of many 100s of times...

At least I've been here a YEAR LONGER THAN YOU, Miss Faithlette:)

had to remember which email address I had orginally used. After going thru a couple (would tell me no acount existed) I found the address I used and bingo!.

Guess I need to scale down on email addresses....I think I have at least 5 out there, though I only use three.

I think its funny how some seem to get butt hurt over the status thing. I think MOST of anyone who spends so much time on this site like us is a die hard Cure fan. Even if it says your join date was yesterday. I know mine is wrong, but I dont care
Next thing you know people will start to judge status according to the number of posts one has...Happens on my husbands hunting forum. should be fun to watch....

Lol, I tried to wait but I had to give in and watch the Rome show. Oh, yeah... and their MySpace! I have no will power whatsoever! Ha

So Exit finally took down the chain link fence?? I've always hated it... felt like an animal in a cage, lol! I haven't been there in a loooong time. One of these days I'll have to go back there. :)

Maybe people are nostalgic and that's why they want their original join date? I'm sentimental that way. I don't think anyone here has to prove that they are a Cure fan.

I've tried everything. Problem is, I joined so long ago that I can't for the life of me remember what email addy I used when I joined in 2004! It might have been my hotmail - but, I've not used it in years and cant remember the addy! LOL

OH, well. :-)

Yeah same with me

Yeah i had the same thing happen, yet i know my original email address. So when i re registered i have had to take my username from speak my language to speakmylanguage.

Is there any way we can email the administrator to sort this kind of thing out?

I would hope the administrator could fix that glitch that reroutes everyone back to the start page when they click log-in.
It is kind of annoying. Cause you don't know if you have logged in or not!!

...thanks to a web archive search, I found my old profile from thecure.com... too bad I couldn't log on to the OLD cure.com to check my profile to see what EMAIL addy I have listed!!!! lol
