Ok, on first listen.. ..I have this to say.
Over all, it's a great album!
However, like I said some songs seem better live than on the album. Song like UTS, The Reason Why, and Freakshow.
And studio versions seem to have to many vocal effects. The sound on some songs, like It's Over, seems a bit messy over the top, and loud, and Robert's vocals more blurred in the mix. Live, it seems better. But still, it's not a fav song, yet, maybe after a few more listens it'll grow on me.
Another one that I don't know how to feel about is The Scream, at first I was not liking it, but towards the end of the song, I did like it. So the jury is still out on that one for me.
This. Here And Now. With You, I don't care to much for. It sounds very familiar, a lyrical flow (way it's sang). But, maybe later it'll get better to my ears.
Switch, it's ok. I like The Hungry Ghost, The Only One, Siren Song, Sleep When I'm Dead, The Real Snow White, and The perfect Boy.
Scoring it from 1-least to 10-best. I personally give it an 8 1/2, at the moment. :-P
Remember people, this is just my personal opinion. I'm not one of them people whom are know it alls, and claim to have a good ear for music, therefore my opinion is better than others.. I'm just saying, it's how I feel now.
