what are you favorite bits of 4:13 DREAM?

the album is still imprinting me, but so far i'm exceptionally loving the mandolin-type sounds in The Hungry Ghost gives me quivery feelings. I love it. And the shouts and yeahs and such that Robert makes in It's Over.

there will be more i'm sure.

That..

"Hawaiian" guitar on the Siren song is something wonderful...have you seen Porl playing on MTV Coca-cola live?
...wonderful wonderful....Porl come here and be my guitar teacher forever!!!!! =P

P.S. good night to everyone...there's a sort of tempest here..so cold and windy and rainy as in a horror movie...brrrr....it gives me thrills....

i love the guitar on Sirensong too.

I love the rushing cosmic sounds in Underneath the Stars. I've been there. It's a special place. Robert captured the sense of it beautifully. I adore that song. It's the prettiest, MOST meaningful lovesong to me since The Loudest Sound.

i also LOVE the way Robert holds the notes in The Reasons Why

when he sings "...In beautiful infinity..."

What I like?

I like how you can hear a little bit of something familiar and a little bit of something new in every song! :-)

Me too....the subtle "doo doo doo doo" sounds reminds me of sounds you might hear on Head on the Door or Japanese Whispers.

Yes, and the Atmospheric waves in UTS are lovely.

The electronic drum sound in the beginning and end of Switch.

I also love the cowbell in Freakshow. :)

yep, those things too...and the cowbell is awesome. it's just what it needed. there was just enough cowbell. more cowbell would be too much. (which takes me back to one of my MOST favorite Saturday Night Live skits with Christopher Walken...so funny..."MORE COWBELL!")
