Maybe it's someone I have chatted with, or in some group with, etc. Anyway, the person wants my opinion on The Cure being a huge band of the 80's as they are writing a piece for some online thing called popjunkie. I don't get why I got the email, maybe he wants a fan's opinion? Did anyone else get this in Cure fandom (anyone here, for example)? Is it a joke? :-P Here's the email.. "Hello I'm currently writing a piece on why the Cure for a new music website called popjunkie - it should be up and running properly next week. Basically, I have been charged with promoting the Cure as the best band of the 80s - and would love to get your feelings on the matter so we can run it as a quote in the argument. "Hello

I'm currently writing a piece on why the Cure for a new music website called
popjunkie - it should be up and running properly next week.
