I suck!

I've only been to 3! I need to sit right in front of Robert at the next one and hypnotize him with my eyes!

Re: MY CURESHOWS

I've only seen them once on the Swing Tour. I would love to see them perform the new album live.

Wow!!

Some of you have seen them A LOT!!!! That's awesome!

I've only seen them twice:

The Swing Tour:
Chicago 7/20/96

The 4Tour:
Chicago 5/17/08

OMG! I just had a MASSIVE panic attack looking for my Swing Tour ticket stub!!!!! That show has some unbelievable memories, and I guess having the stub is kinda sentimental? I just freaked out a bit for about 5 minutes! But I looked again and there it was ~ in the pile with all my other ticket stubs!

Geesh! Get a grip, woman, lol!! Breathe in, breathe out... ahhhhhhhh.

:P

That has been my dream since I was a teenager, but I never had the money (or time) to do it. But next time...YES, for their next tour I will do it!

Made up for lost opportunities in the 4-Tour

Prior to the 4-Tour, my only show was
May 25, 1992 at the Worcester Centrum (MA/USA)

Car broke down for the Prayer Tour :(, Busy with Baby for Kissing Tour, Boycotted the Swing Tour (because I hated WMS), didn't even know about the Dream Tour until too late.

4-Tour 2008
Europe:
March 14 - Antwerpen
March 16 - Oberhausen
March 18 - Rotterdam
March 20 - London

USA:
May 9 - Fairfax/DC
May 12 - Boston
June 21 - NYC-Radio City (unbelievable show!!!!!)

Can somebody tell me why US Americans show up to Cure shows wearing Ralph Lauren or Abercrombie and Fitch? It was even like that in 1992. In Europe, nearly everyone was properly attired in black...

Well, thank god not everyone in Europe wears what you call a "proper attire"...how boring would that be?!

True, not everyone - but the majority, yes. And yes, I agree it would be boring if there weren't exceptions. But it's strange to go to a Cure concert and have the crowd look like they're there to see Oasis or something....

It would be interesting...

...to see them in America and to see how different the audience is there. Maybe one day I will not only be able to follow them through Europe but also to go to some US shows.

I just guess they are much bigger, aren't they? I like smaller venues, the smaller the better.

For the 4-Tour, the venues were much larger in Europe. One reason why Radio City was so wonderful was the fact that the venue was smaller and the acoustics sublime.

That sounds good!

Hope I will have a chance to see them in the US one day!
