The Reasons Why
" and a jaunty shimmer of a song with lyrics taken from a real-life suicide note that Smith was sent in 1987 ('The Reasons Why' - "I knew the person who sent me the letter. It was a genuine suicide. They would be my age"). "
For some reason, after reading that in the NME interview, whenever I listen to The Reasons Why now, I get this strange feeling of unease.
Even with that said, I still love the song (It was one of the songs that stood out to me upon first listening to 4.13) but I still get that feeling creeping up.
I think it could be reminding me of something else.
Anyway, I don't suppose that happened to anyone else, did it?
