What else is everyone listening too

Aside from the cure what is everyone else listening too? I will always be a Duran Duran fanatic!! I grew up listening to them so I love them, they have a new Dvd chronicling their album Rio that I can't wait to pick up. I saw the youtube clip and it looks pretty good.

KATE BUSH and NEW ORDER are my two favourite after The Cure.

KATE IS A GENIUS, A WITCH, SHE IS THE MOST SENSUAL HUMAN BEING OF PLANET EARTH, SHE IS MAGIC, IN WHATEVER SHE DOES.
HER VOICE, WHEN SHE SINGS AND WHEN SHE SPEAKS (one of the seven wonder of the world is listen kate speaking... and wonder from where this graceful girl came out), THE WAY SHE DANCE, THE WAY SHE IS, EVERYSINGLE THING OF HER NEVER STOP TO TOUCH ME AND SHOCK ME.
SHE IS SWEET AND UNREAL AND OH SO BEAUTIFUL...!!!
Im a girl but i love her as a man can do. Lol.

All of this musically and generally speaking. If i start to talk about her records...i could take something like 4years...

Cocteau Twins are kind of awesome. One, because I like the name. Next off, I dig the woman's voice. But after a few mins you do get quite sick of it. It's like "Holy fuck! Dude!WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU SAYING? Screw this glossolalia crap for a second. You are bumming Demosthenes out! Keep it up and he's gonna come back from the dead and put pebbles in your mouth!"

Right now..

..the whole album, 4:13 Dream. This is my second full listen. I like to wait a bit between listens to see how I feel, to reach my final conclusion. I have to go through cycles. Yeah, sorry.. this is suppose to be aside from The Cure, but I can't help it. :-)

i'm still listening to 4:13 DREAM... alternating between speakers and headphones.

headphones are SOOOOO intimate. fantastic. I've been playing this music nearly 24/7 since I got the cd, i switched off to watch a little television, then turn it right back on. i do love every song.

well

Other than the Cure, I like Joy Divison, Siouxsie and the Banshees, The Smiths (yes, I know robert hates morissey, I listen to them b/c of Johnny Marr's guitar work lol) Depeche Mode, Radiohead. But mostly the Cure. I'm suprising myself how much Cure I listen to, lol. I finally downloaded that Last.fm audioscrobbler thing so whatever I listen to on iTunes (I find it ironic that I have iTunes but I don't own an ipod, lol) gets "scrobbled" onto my profile. I listen to a LOT of Cure. They have an album for my every mood, lol.

Right now I'll prolly get bashed about the head, but at this second I'm listening to some Gershwin tunes, a box set called The Complete Gershwin Songbooks. I hadn't heard them in a long while and they're still amaaaaaaaaazing!!!!! So many awesome tunes here!

Oh, DJ ~ you almost had me lose my Gershwin vibe because of that LOA, hahaa! But thankfully I tend to have AADD, so onwards with the Gershwins.
