Weird things you have seen

I saw someone with a canister of whip cream and a bagel.
They sprayed the whuip cream onto the bagel.
It looked sort of good...

My coworker had key lime pie yogart and a banana cut up in it. I wouldn't think that was a good combination LOL she said it was nasty ;P

...My father took his testicle out, whilst my uncle was taking ages trying to pot the black in a game of snooker. He stuck it above the pocket my uncle was aiming for & said "Aim for that, you bastard!" He he! My Dad was hilarious!

The WEIRDEST REAL THING THAT I HAVE EVER SEEN are those many things that I actually see that are not actually there.

However, something that was weird and actually there occurred a long, long time ago when I was traveling by car from Florida towards north and was up somewhere in Georgia I HAD to make a potty stop.

I stopped at a gas station. I asked where the Ladies Room was. The greasy guy inside by the register said "Out back." I went out back. There was no Ladies Room on the left out back, nor on the right out back. I went back inside and I was now in a somewhat urgent condition. "I can't find the Ladies Room!"

"I said it was out back. Go OUT BACK. IN THE BACK of the station."

So I went out back.

Ummmm....

There "out back", leaning against the wall was a filthy, godawful toilet with no wall whatsover around it. It was just OUT BACK. Nature demanded that I give it a try, so as I squatted over it gingerly, using thigh and calf musculature that I had no idea that I even possessed, I TRIED to do my personal business that was moments before urgent and not actually forthcoming. I was staring out at enormous heaps of old tires, trash, cans, bottles, you name it.... and a big mean Cujo looking barking dog chained to a close by dog house that he was scooting towards me viciously. I was too busy swatting away the flies circling around the dog doo piles and beyond to make things HAPPEN at all. Needless to say, I had cancelled out physically and was moving towards mental shock so I NEEDED to leave that OUT BACK locale immediately and go elsewhere before I dropped over in a stress faint.

It was one of those kinds of weird things I've seen but wish I neveer had times that I will never ever ever ever forget.

I saw some college students (?) trying to row a canoe down the main street of my former town.
And a girl dressed as a kitty cat no where near Halloween also in the same town.
And a guy who used to walk around town in a WWII bayonet helmet.
It was a weird town.

Well, I can't say that I never again encountered a horrid bathroom.

I was taking the bus from south west Florida all the way to north east Texas. There were many stops along the way.

As if it were not bad enough that pee was sloshing up the aisles from the back of the bus towards the front every time we headed down a hill. Oh no. That wasn't even the worst of it.

Just when I couldn't bear to hold my feet up off the ground any longer but had to go so bad there was NO WAY that I was going to splash to the back of the bus to use a toilet that I dare not even open the door to. No. I used my keigel powers and waited until we stopped. It would be hours before we got to a bus hub to change buses from the cess pool we were in to one with a toilet that didn't erupt like a fountain.

Happily, the driver parked so the shifting sea of pee was to the back, so I got off and headed into the gas station/quickie snack shack.

I waited in line, and everytime some lady came out of the bathroom she looked ashen and rushed off speechless. I shuffled my way to the front of the line and when it was my turn to enter I was almost delirious and when I walked into THAT bathroom I thought I would frigging die. Actually die. Because it was FULL of mushroomy things growing in the sink, on the floor all along the base of the walls. It was SO GROSS that it would be impossible to imagine how awful. I went in to the men's room and peed there. It was clean. Apparently the guys who worked there wouldn't take a leak in a dirty bathroom but never ever went into the ladie's room which was so dirty I think it was toxic.

Now, something weird that did not involve a bathroom or lack of one thereof....

Once upon a time I was working for a florist in Florida delivering flowers when I was way out in the boondocks almost near the everglades. I turned down a road heading towards a long established snowbirds trailer park and lo & behold there were not one, not two, but three otters on their backlegs sauntering towards a drainage ditch that opened into a canal. It was so cool. I had to stop the van to rub my eyes and watch in awe at what I was seeing.

Mushrooms in a bathroom. That is toxic because of the possibilitiy of toxic spores.

I've been an RN for 16 years...I've seen alot of weird things...lol! Ultimate conclusion...PEOPLE are weird! Sometimes I come home from work and ask myself..."did I just see that today? That was weird!" I wish I could tell you guys because you would die!!! But, HIPPA! LOL! Ok, just a glimpse of one experience...it involved gerbils...LOL! Have fun with that!

Oh dear, I worked as the Unit Secretary in an ER for three years. That was about all of it that I could take. Yea. I've seen some WEIRD things like that too. What goes in doesn't always easily come out...shampoo bottle, a whole set of keys, telephone cord, etc. etc. etc.

Also, there was also multiple key rings event of what goes ON doesn't always come off situation that was dreadful.

The weirdest thing I've seen?? Let me see!!! I don't know! But some of my friends think that it is really weird the fact that I have more than 100 CURE songs on my mp3 player!!! <3

I think what the worst part of it is, is the knowing that there are people on the Earth who actually do that particular kind of thing to themselves. The key ring thing was so dreadful that there was nearly a must do amputation to save a life. And there was a bottom side situation later that resulted in a necessary colostomy to save a life. I've been out of there for 9-1/2 years and I still have disturbed flashbacks about what my nights there were like. If nurses and docs are definitely the heros of the hospitals.

On a cheerful note:

When my daughter lived in what is known as "The Piney Woods" region of Texas I was visiting and heard weird sounds. I never heard weird sounds like that and went to the dining room to look. Lo & behold! It was gobbling little flock of wild turkeys looking right up into the glass of the french door windows! Needless to say, I was fascinated. Very cool.

At the same location when my eldest grandson was in kindergarten we were in a rush to get him to school and my daughter told him "Go get in the van". He left then came back in and said "I can't. The cow won't let me."

I laughed and said "Cow! What cow?" then went to the door chuckling and when I opened the door I stopped chuckling to shout "OMIGOD! THERE'S A BIG BLACK BULL IN THE DRIVEWAY!"

It was HUGE!

We had to call the police. It ended up wandering from the driveway to the neighbor's back yard. We were so afraid to startle it.

There were a lot of interesting things I saw when they were living there. On the top of the list that I was delighted about was there was the first place I ever in my life saw bluebirds. They were flying around all over the place. I was utterly delighted. I had always wanted to see one and instead I saw hundreds over the time I was visiting there. They are as blue as the blue crayon that only indicates "Blue" on it. Gorgeous.

Also from there were the authors who wrote the first book on North American Wildflowers. I really could imagine their inspiration. It was a great place for beautiful wildflowers. And hayfever as well.

Another cool weird thing:

Way back when I was living in the town I'm living in now, it was the very end of spring/start of summer and I stepped out the back door and the tree to the left was so full of a flickering flock of yellow finches it a sight to behold. There were hundreds and hundreds of them. The tree looked like it was in full bloom with yellow flowers.

I brought my daughter out to see it, and we sat on the step and watched it for quite a long time until they decided to continue onto their destination, wherever that might have been.

More on birds, in Florida I had gone on a nature trail near Playalinda National Seashore right near Cape Kennedy in Cocoa Beach, and I had just said it was a huge fail...a whole lot of nothing waiting to happen...and nothing was happening. UNTIL turning right on a bend there on both sides of the path were the most amazing array of sea birds...thousands of them! So many different kinds like I had never in my life seen before...even in a zoo...along with lots of rosette spoonbills (which I love) in the mix. It was surreal. Driving very slowly past in the car there were so many who were watching me watch them. It's imprinted in my mind.

I have lots of amazing things that I've seen. Lots. I'm usually quite observant, so I see things that many people miss seeing even when it's right in front of them.

When I was living in Bonita Springs,Florida I lived about a mile from the Gulf of Mexico across the road from the Imperial River. I use to ride my bike or walk all over the place.

One favorite destination was just at the end of my road where there was tucked right in the neighborhood, a small natural river lagoon that was where the manatee females would go to give birth to their calves and nurse and raise the tiny little creatures until they were big enough to venture away from there. I loved watching the babies tucked very up close and touching their mothers.

...saw UFO w/ 4 other ppl one night in the middle of nowhere (Pocono Mtns) in 1980 one night... lasted a few minutes before disappearing in a beam of light... VERY weird.

also~

while surfing, saw an osprey (sea hawk) caught in fishing line & drowning, sent my husband out on longboard to cut it loose... hawk was too tired to fly off ~ jumped on the nose of surfboard... husband hopped off in terror (VERY BIG bird)... then swam in pushing board through surf w/ hawk still standing on nose of board... remember thinking to myself, "that's not something you see everyday" (hawk riding 9ft surfboard).
FYI: hawk stood on beach for a few mins drying ~ until he regained enough strength to fly away.

Another weird thing
I met my boyfriend in jr. high.
We were in the band class.
Everyday their would be a contest between the trumpet players on how loud they could play.(he plays trumpet)
The weird factor?
The band director participated with them.
Why I added my boyfriend into the story?
He would always come close to winning until one instance when one of the valves became stuck. On the lowest note.

A few years ago I went to an American Motocross race. Before the race started the whole crowd,(except us) took their hat off and held it to their heart and sang the National Anthem...
To see such patriotism was very weird.

Here is a weird thing I saw /experienced...

A few years ago I had a Colonic Irrigation. A nice lady inserted a tube up my bum oops! and gradually syphoned warm water into me and all the while gave my tummy a gentle rub. Quite a strange at times uncomfortable but also at time relaxing and sort of pleasurable experience.

I was told that we have waste stuck to the inside of our body's from many years past and this would clean it out. Also that the Royal Family go in for a Colonic (They live to a ripe old age) Anyway I digress...

My first visit was for about 30 to 45 mins, and I was told that it takes a good three visits to fully clean it out.

A week later I returned for my second visit and the pipe insertion warm water and tummy rub continued. What the nice lady had not explained about to me was something called a Secom Flush....So imagine my surprise when the muscles within me suddenly contracted and exploded all of the liquid and contents out. I can only describe it as a bit of an arse orgasm, very surprising.

She then proceeded to fill my cavity with a warm coffee mixture, I am told this cleans the inside walls. All in all quite a weird experience.

As I walked out of the building I did feel very light and very uplifted.....

Strangest (but weirdly quite cool) thing I ever saw was the inside of my own abdomen. I hasten to add that this was via photographs taken during an operation to remove ... (boys? you may not want to read further than this) ... an ovarian cyst the size of a grapefruit.

What surprised me was how 'un-gory' it was: there was no blood, no squishy bits, just nice clean internal tubes, connective tissue and all sorts of big blobby things ...and a then-deflated white sac that once held about a Coke-tin's worth of "straw-coloured clear fluid".

So I got to see my ovaries (well.. one and a half of an ovary, they had to remove part of one to get the whole cyst out), my intestines (Me: "What's that yellow squigley thing sitting on top of the big purple-y tube-y thing?") a couple of uterine fibroids (now called Eric and Ernie) and the limp sac-y thing mentioned up above.

It was really all rather interesting - and I think the specialist was rather excited to find someone who was so interested in what she actually does for a job, coz she spent ages going through what they had done and how they do it (keyhole surgery is pretty darned amazing!!)

The funny thing was, is that until I started getting weird symptoms (which I won't go into because all the boys will run away looking a bit ill), I had no idea that I had a walloping great big cyst inside me. I mean how can you NOT notice something the size of a damned grapefruit inside your own body? But as a nurse said, "You'd be surprised what is in your own body and you don't know about it..." and it's got no real cause because the inside of a human body is (mostly!!) sterile, it's just a follicle doodah filling up with fluid and not draining, so it just gets bigger and bigger and bigger.

Weird!!

The funny thing was, is that until I started getting weird symptoms (which I won't go into because all the boys will run away looking a bit ill), I had no idea that I had a walloping great big cyst inside me. I mean how can you NOT notice something the size of a damned grapefruit inside your own body? But as a nurse said, "You'd be surprised what is in your own body and you don't know about it..." and it's got no real cause because the inside of a human body is (mostly!!) sterile, it's just a follicle doodah filling up with fluid and not draining, so it just gets bigger and bigger and bigger.

Weird!!

That made me think of when I had some piles removed. The nurse cam to give me my premed...I asked her will I be able to ride a bicycle after the operation. She assured me that I would be able to which was strange I told her as I had not been able to ride a bicycle prior to the operation.
