The Cure used in TV Music?

I have a friend who insists that a piece of Cure music was used as trhe backing during Channel 4 Racing, he said it was also used in the Natural World documentary about the Slow Loris. Has anyone got any ideas, as I have tried to find the answer with no luck at all

Don't know about that, but The Cure's music appears regularly on British t.v. Especially The Lovecats, every time there is something about cats on the news! Also, a version of Close To Me is on that Nivea advert, which appears at every break for This Morning programme! I always sing "plink!, plink!, plink!", when it comes on! Ha ha! It just came on the t.v! Spooky!

Yes Plastic Passion was used for a "Durex" advert :-)
