The Vocalist of The Cure is a complete ASSHOLE, I don't know who he think he is saying that people don´t play in Ecuador. There has been bigger bands than The Cure playing in Ecuador. He talks out of ignorance. If he doesn't know don't talk ass wipe.

You know Ecuador should take Robert Smith, (that is the brilliant vocalist/guitar player/song writer etc's.. name), actually knowing the country exists as a compliment. Without looking it up do you know where Tasmania is?

Let's be honest... 1) What he hear about Ecuador everyday is about that arrogant President Correa, friends with Hugo Chavez (and most of us know what does that mean).
2) Ecuador is known -lately- for it's beaches
3) There are LOTS of famous bands playing in Argentina, Brasil, Chile and Peru than in Ecuador
4) Robert saying that nobody plays in Ecuador was harsh... and I understand why fans are angry/dissapointed.
5) Ecuatorian people will have to travel to Venezuela or Peru to see their favourite band...

...Ecuador? yeecchhh....who wants to go where FARC may kidnap them and make them live in the jungle for a year or so? or go where drug lords will behead you?...the only thing that country did right was give Julian asylum...
