Hello this is Crimsonrose. I'm pleased to meet everyone. I've been a Cure fan for a long time. I thought I should come to the Official site for this Simply Elegant and Most Irresisitible band The Cure! I am the Bohemian artsy type. I play guitar and piano, write poetry and enjoy painting, traveling and going to concerts. I'm Madly Addicted to the Cure!

Hi all! I've been a Cure fan since 1983, but found muck more pleasure in the music after I met a friend, Chad, from California. He introduced me to so much great music. I grew up in a small,less than 700 people, country town in Louisiana. Of course there were no iTunes...but I do remember watching the first day of MTV and every day after. Long before it changed to something I cannot recognize. Great times then!
Depech Mode, Oingo Boingo, U2, The Dead Milkmen, YAZ, OMD, The Smiths, Psychedelic Furs, Talk Talk Talk, Echo & The Bunnymen,The Church, Midnight Oil and so much more I like.
Most I my music was lost in the move back to the states, so I've been trying to replace it a little at a time. I spend a good amount on iTunes, and buying CDs on EBay. Seems the more I find the more I find I haven't heard of, so my music list gets longer not shorter as I go.

Hello, this is Crimsonrose. Thanks for the nice greetings to me as a new member everyone! Now I get to greet a new member. Hello and welcome JohnnyVisegrip! I see you are also from Louisiana like I am! The rare times when I'm not listening to the Cure, I listen to alot of the same groups as you do. I adore Depeche Mode, Echo and the Bunnymen, The Smiths, U2 and the Psychedelic Furs. The Psychedelic Furs played a wonderful concert in Baton Rouge, Louisiana last year!
