Why can't I watch on youtube?

Why is the CureVevo youtube site restricted? I'm in Canada and I get "the uploader hasn't made this available for your country" for every single CureVevo video. There's tons of videos that are only available on that channel (I guess they take them down if others upload them?) and it's rather frustrating. :(

YouTube often restricts by country :-( There's a lot if US ones I can't see here in the UK :-/

Yeah, but I'm pretty sure the limit isn't decided on by youtube itself, but by the individual or organization that uploaded the videos. So I'm wondering why The Cure, or their label, would restrict their Vevo channel to (I presume) UK only.
