What would you do?

If someone's hair was super big and they sat/stood in front of you at a Cure Concert?

I had that one year at Wembley. I swapped seats :-)

Re: What would you do?

I laughed at this because although she wasn't sitting in front of me, there was a girl who had the hugest backcombed Robert (in the Caterpillar era)hairdo I have ever seen in my life at the end of the row when I saw The Cure years ago. I would have hated to have been behind her, but as she totally fascinated me I kept glancing at her. Within 1/2 hour of the show starting it had started to wilt and after an hour it had lost all shape. By the end of the concert she looked more like the girl who crawled out of the tv set in "The Ring"! :D
I hate to think of how much damage she'd done to the ozone layer with the amount of hairspray used, but it did make me laugh.

Re: What would you do?

You could tap this person on the shoulder and say that super big hair is so not very 2013 anymore:
Tell that even Robert has changed his look and that this is the perfect moment to go to the ladies/men's room and with enough water and a comb THAT THIS PERSON SHOULD HURRY, HURRY...AND COULD BE BACK RIGHT IN TIME BEFORE THE CONCERT STARTS...
In the meantime you can take in this person's place and let the show begin

Serious: I had real tall persons standing in front of me and there always came a time after one or two songs that the crowd start swaying and you're a few steps away from this tall person with a great view

Succes
Love, Levs

Re: What would you do?

Well i barely reach 1 1/2 meter in height, so I always have this problem at concerts.
Usually you are able to find a small path between peoples heads where you can get a look at what is going on at the stage.
As Levs said, if it is a super tall guy that stands in front of you, I just poke them on the back and ask if we can shift places. the normally just agrees and smiles because I have the height to reach them at their chest :-)

Re: What would you do?

Well as someone who probably caused such a problem years ago, with the hair and being quite tall, nothing, my turn to move about! When I was at the RAH for the reflections show, there was a boy who looked very much like a young RS a few rows in front of me, polka dot shirt, perfect hair, and to be honest I kept looking at him inbetween songs, fascinated how alike RS he was, so no his hair didn't bother me..

Re: What would you do?

Probably smile and laugh, then move myself around a bit so that I could see. If hubby was with me I'd ask to swap seats with him so that I had a better view.

I would probably try to peer around them or just politely ask them to move a bit. :) I usually wear heels so that helps a lot.

Re: What would you do?

I brought this up because I was thinking of having big hair at the next show....

Guess not;)
HA!

Thought one was exempt at Cure Shows, but I'd be pissed, too.

My boy had hair too big, once, at a Cure Show, and i had to defend him;)

I'm a bad bitch.

Re: What would you do?

I'm relatively tall, 6'3" (1.9m), and I have the opposite problem in that I am always conscious of blocking other peoples' views. I often find myself bending my knees slightly in an attempt to appear shorter. Always had the wrong hair-type for big hair though :-(

Aww that's nice of you! But, I bet it's nice to see over everything too! Big hair takes awhile to achieve. My boyfriend uses lots of "FreezIt" and a comb. The bathroom is covered in a film of hair starch!
