I know it is not polite to comment on other peoples religion, because you might provoke people, but actually I am really provoked by the mention of God. I am (not surprisingly) an atheist, and I will leave out my opinions about God and Religion if you will leave out yours!

Sorry if I sound angry, I´m not. And I´m not trying start a vehement debate. (I would really like to avoid that) so sorry, it is not more than a suggestion from a frustrated atheist :-)

Levs has always been like this MissArrow, it has caused debate on more than one occasion. You weren't the first to say anything and I'm pretty sure you won't be the last. :)
The fact that Levs has actually returned to the fold indicates that at least some of the 'old' faces are starting to return, which can only be a good thing....can't it? :)

just saying, if you expect people to respect your beliefs, you have to respect other people beliefs (or lack of) too. which means don´t intentionally, unless necessary provoke them.

If people keeps mentioning God in here, I will not continue to ignore it, and you will get my honest (and to you not very nice) opinion on that subject.
I´m not trying to be rude but as I stated before, It Provokes me a lot!

old people returning to the site, is a good thing unless it means that new people can´t join

MissArrOw, I am truly sorry if I upset you or made you feel uncomfortable when I mentioned “Christian joy” in my discussion of the Faith album. I’ll try to filter my comments in the future, but please understand that I think, talk, and act like a Christian because I am a Christian. I can’t change that.

You mentioning this means that you have knowledge of a part of what is written in the bible
And ofcourse even an atheist is smart enough to understand the importance of such an advice

So you want me to stop talking about Jesus, God, the bible, moslims, the Koran, religions, churches, cathedrals, Gregorian music and so on ?

The people who are here longer know how I have been going on about the fact that there is freedom of speech.
This is the open forum for all Curefans of all colors,countries, religions and so on.
So who is going to stop me ? Only God can !
The way you think means that Christians, people with other religions have no right to speak ( or maybe just a real short while), not here, elsewhere, in public etc, suppose accidently an atheist would be around and find it disturbing to even hear the word God a few times, does that mean that we're told to either stop talking or else move on even worse ?
All over the world Christians are still prosecuted, tortured, kept in prison and murdered

And you think YOU are upset ?
I tried to find back the thread that I said that if someone didn't like what I wrote I would stop because I understand that this is The Cure forum, but I can't find it anymore maybe Leahcl remembers, now I am upset, especially because I think that it could be that the problem lies elsewhere

The truth is not always very lovely
I understand why you will ignore me, and another advice you can read is to love your enemy, so I never ignore people who knock on my door.
I think you could learn from me and I from you,
so let's just agree that everyone is welcome here and to speak out about every subject at any time

Levs, I know which thread you mean. It was from a long time ago!! Yes, this is a Cure forum, but this part is General Chat and as we all know, anything (almost lol!!) goes ;-)
We've had a lot of healthy, and the occasional unhealthy, discussions here. I think we're all adult- and mature-enough to realise when something is said in innocence and not as a dig at someone. I'd hate for this place to become over-censored, we've had that before when the invisi-mods held sway!

He knows he doesn't have much time left and walks around on earth like a wounded animal.
He also knows that he will be destroyed by God and where will he end ?
...that it will be real painfull

From a pagan point of view, satan's attributes have been taken by religion and made to represent evil. Paganism shows a lot of the attributes given to Satan are ones given in goodness to their gods & spirits

You didn't behave in the way we expected one to behave,
which annoyed some people here
I speak from experience, so I know.
And about not mentioning God and so on
This forum is known for freedom of speech, so what can you do?
Better is to apologize both of you and to move on.
Anger is a poison, so get rid of it as soon as you can
