Goodness, I'm not sure leahcl's post intended this discussion!
Everybody is entitled to voice their own opinions, but I don't think you need to get so angry with each other, Levs you did state in your post 'a piece of heaven' that you wouldn't post religious links if anyone objected, whilst I don't think you need to stop, you did say it, so why are you so upset with miss Arrow? Sometimes people get carried away I think,I'm sure nobody meant to offend anybody else, but clearly some of you are very upset.On this forum the only thing we need to have in common is that we like/love the cure,surely? so I think you should all just live and let live, it doesn't matter if we don't have the same opinions, we don't really know each other, best wishes to you all, and relax....I shall say no more, we might have some concerts to look foreward to this year!! a much nicer thought to dwell on..

Dear Lord! I got all excited to see Rachy back(waves)and woh.. This is an unrestricted area and you can write whatever you want. If a reader gets offended it is THEIR problem and they should have the maturity to suck it up and move on. If you want to make discussion fine thats allowed too. I posted a Violent Soho Song - Jesus Stole My Girlfriend on my last visit **shrugs**

I'm very happy the site hasn't died!

I want to tell everyone here that if they have a problem with what I post that I will not continue, because I understand that this is the Cure's forum and I don't expect all of you to come and sit down and sing Ave Verum with me, funny or not ?

Then something happened and I reacted, I should\could have stopped reacting, but for a reason I decided to continue, with the result I prayed for.

Right now because everyone ( not only me ) responded I can say and I think MissArrow as well that the arrow is removed and despite our different opinions we are friendly with each other.

In reply to the original question: I come and I go...I read and run. Even though I have so much I want to do each day, there seems to me to be less minutes in an hour and less hours in a day. I need more zip in my doo-dah, but that's not going to happen.

There is absolutely NOTHING that would EVER provoke me to stop listening to and loving The Cure.

Yes, we have Spotify in the U.S. We have to access it via Facebook though.

In all seriousness, there have been bigger battles waged here over the years. None seem to ever actually be "won" by anybody. Well, I take that back...except for THE GIGANTIC battle of willpower that Levs won...those of us who lived through her proving the right to free speech have lived to remember it...telling of it is nearly impossible. MANY people who use to be here are long ago gone and pretty much entirely forgotten because they buckled under the pressure of it :-D Seriously, if push ever comes to shove...Lev will SURELY win. As well she should. This is the General Forum, and anything can be discussed...or argued here...from any angle. That's been long understood.

My dear child, I just finished watching a dvd ( one of a series of eight) almost two hours of not only facts even some humor
I bought it because my eldest told me we are born out of just one single bacterium and that I REALLY had to see this documentary about the evolutiontheory.
About halfway I already got sleepy, it was like a childrensanimationmovie
He also told me .."".but I do believe in God, but what about Adam and Eve? ( he was not into God before and I don't really talk a lot about my religion, so this was a miracle to me :-)
I just told him that they were the first people on earth.
Someone adviced me to show him these dvd's from Dr. Kent Hovind

The complete Creationseminar

The first one is called: The age of the earth,2 The garden of Eden, 3 Dinosaurs( maybe this is not the right translation ) 4 Lies int the textbooks 5 The dangers of evolution 6 The Hovind Theory 7a Questions and answers

Nothing wrong with that I have enormous respect for study and working for science, but I only ask you to listen ( and I I know two hours looks a long time but in you're life it's like a split second.
Please take your time to examine this as well the further this dvd progresses it get's really worth to take in the information.

WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO LOSE ?
