The Cure

Since I’ve never been to a Cure concert and do NOT live in South America…

I’ve been considering buying the Trilogy DVD for some time now, but can’t decide if I should. I have seen parts of it on YouTube and it does seem good…
Was it a worthwhile addition to your Cure collection?
Do you watch it often?
I’m tired of thinking; just tell me what to do.

The Pornography set is fantastic. I'd fully recommend getting Trilogy :-)

It is well worth buying, but I would also recommend The Cure FESTIVAL 2005, it is a mix of screen cameras and footage by fans at different shows throughout the summer, so it does look a bit different, but the set list is fab, it is authorised by the cure, so RS has made sure the quality is ok.Set list
open, fascination street, alt.end, the blood, a night like this, the end of the world, if only tonight we could sleep, the kiss, shake dog shake, us or them,never enough, the figurehead,a strange day, push, just like heaven, in between days,from the edge of the deep green sea, the drowning man, signal to noise, the baby screams, one hundred years, shiver and shake, end. The encore is, at night, M, play for today, a forest, plainsong, disintegration, and faith, if you've already got this you should have said before I typed the set list!!

Oh that's a definite YES! BUY IT! It's worth the purchase and I watch it quite often. Besides their MTV "Unplugged" performance, "Trilogy" is my favorite. Pornography will blow your mind and Disintegration is so beautiful. However I don't know what Bloodflowers is like because my disc won't read...and that's the one with all the interviews/encores :( Rats! Festival 2005 is a good addition as well, but the camera work is more raw and not as polished and elegant as "Trilogy". Still worth it though.

Blacklily, that’s awful about your disc not reading. Is it too late to exchange your DVD for one that actually works? You know, that happened to me once and the Ebay seller just sent me another disc (this one good) and told me to not bother returning the defective one. Cool, eh? Maybe you should try.

Hopefully! When you watch all 3 sets in one go, with the volume turned UP, it's great :-)

Most definitely! I am now the happy owner of two excellent Cure DVDs.
