Hey Seck.
The 'new' guitarist is Reeves Gabrels, he of David Bowie fame. He's not a permanent member and was bought in to fill Porl's shoes a year ago.
I for one don't consider him a full member of the band, more like a stop-gap until a full time guitarist can be found.....that is if there ever is going to be another full time member.

A wild guess:
He's just tired of all the travelling or music and wants to spend more time with his family, painting just other things in life. Or he will join another band like he used to do before

I'm really sorry to say but I think we will never know. Robert is very summier with giving information the past years
Actually I'm quitte surprised he announces the tours homself they're making.
But on the other hand it was real decent that he apologized to the countries they couldn't pay a visit

I was told by a reliable source the reason Porl left the band but I was sworn to secrecy. Why? I don't know, but unless Robert decides to tell himself the reason then I will not disclose.
As it has been so long now I can't imagine it will ever come to light, unless maybe a new book is ever written.

Well, he changed his name to Pearl and auctioned off all his guitars, gig clothing etc a few months back. I have the feeling that he's had a complete change, both in his work and his personal life and has shut himself off from being a musician. All the best to him, but he'll be missed

Hmm, I wondered what was going on with Porl. Did he really change his name? Sometimes you just have to do what's best for you. Best of luck to him :)

I was talking to this guy down the pub the other day. He told me that he 100% knew who fired the fatal shot at JFK, but I'm not allowed to tell anyone. It's not who you think!
