Levs (the religious poster) was here before me, she's had different profiles. Davido was also here before me, and Glimmy as well. The others have stopped posting, although I know of at least one who lurks (you know who you are!!!). Others like Xploding Grrrl I'm still friends with outside of here. Moderators were regular members, and Robert did occasionally post on regular threads, which was really good :-) That was when the forum was the Bloodflowers theme, and wasn't under the control of the record label. There were still arguments etc but it was good. |

Then the site got re-vamped and I had to start a new profile. I think I was twilight17 (not inspired by the twilight saga btw!) | cats_n_cheese | Re: Where's my next CPA t-shirt?!My highlights I guess would be when I first started here, I stumbled right into the middle of a Levs/Bridget argument! I thought a lot of people were bullying her so I launched in and tried defending her, saying it was unfair that a lot of people were saying all these things about her. I had no idea that it was all frustration, as back in those days she wasn't herself (she's much better these days). I remember one of the members sending me a lengthy email explaining everything, and that woman is now my oldest online friend! That then went on to making more friends, at a time when I'd only just started out online. I'd never even really been on msn etc at that time. The Daily thread was really nice, it started out as London Calling by Nik then Screamie started it up again after a hiatus, then I did. That was a nice thing to do. The GH thing was a bad highlight but to be honest I understand why, as there were a lot of trolls here at that point, some people were getting disgustingly sexual with their posts and we had minors posting here, etc. Beause a lot of those people had a running with GH before (I wasn't around for that) it all kicked off and the forum was closed. But it purged it in a way, and although not many of the 'oldies' came back, there are a lot of new people which is nice :-) |
