The Cure Buenos Aires 87... Madonna 2008

hi! I was nostalgically remembering, as i always do, the two cure shows in Buenos Aires 1987...yes! 22 fucking years ago !...and I was there! Front line! Scary and magic-the mess it was, the balls of fire flying to the stage, shoes and bottles flying too close to Robert's head...the drugs, the crowd, the police dogs biting people, the stadium doors that where wide open free for anyone, tickets or no, after the first hour of those two unforgettable, wild and crazy nights... and the magic and the music. Yes ! we were all younger, drunkier and punkier, those days!
maybe this savage post military (we ended a military government in 85) behavior scared Robert to never come back-Despite the popularity of The Cure in Argentina is enormous this days-
I was in River's Plate Stadium for the Madonna's show that will be the official DVD of the Sticky and Sweet tour-“This is my best show ever and you are the hottest enthusiastic crowd in the whole world” she said-The same said Keith Richards every time he plays here, with the Stones or the Winos-I have seen him playing next to me, down in the stadium ground. Something to remember...
And i truly wish Robert with his Cure team to come back, see how things have changed and we all, older and younger cure lovers and the band, deserve this chance to give to each other what we really deserve. Two generations of Cure fans have grown here without seeing one Cure live concert ever…sad it is… The Cure is the band of my life, and i refuse to think Argentina will never have the chance to see The Cure live again-Hope and wish you will be back. Maybe someday...you will never forget-we will always remember-

i have 35-40 mts of second ferro concert 87 in vhs..lol doing strange faces to the croud and robert standing brave as front man,with a "what the fuck i'm doing here face..." asking people to get quiet, just before a strange day first acord and balls of fire flying to the stage...unforgetable! i will turn vhs into digital and share it with you...hope robert won't mind...-love-henry-
