Would love to have the opportunity to hear the encore that wasn't played/finished at the Vegas show last year. Saw the set list and would have died to hear "Boys don't cry" *sigh*

You can see the Coachella version of it here on YouTube - and it actually has Robert's vocals. At the show, we couldn't hear Robert singing because they had just cut off the house amps. So the whole audience was singing along since we couldn't hear him. It was really fantastic! I was even able to find myself in this clip, amazingly. :) Good times. I'm ready for some more live Cure, though. It's been too long already!!!

I thought you knew that! I drove out to Vegas, stayed 2 nights at The Palms and then drove to Coachella Saturday evening. One of the official webcast videocamera guys was standing pretty close to me, so a number of the photos I took at Coachella just about match up to frames in those video clips. :)

You and I didn't meet here until after Coachella, though, because I never used to post in the forum. I only left comments in the News section before that. You're most welcome! It was a very special night because there was a really strong band-audience connection. Especially during that song because no one wanted it to end. The band soldiered on and Robert was doing his very best to be heard. Everyone wanted to support him/them and give them some love back - and show how much we appreciated their efforts. They really are the best band on the planet. :)

Yeah, I wish they would tour again. I've never gotten to see them live either. It was really nice to hear some more about the Coachella show. Sounds like it was a lot of fun!
