The Cure

Upcoming Cure concerts.

Is this website the place to be kept up-to-date with Cure concerts. I've never seen them, have always wanted to, but was always in the wrong part of the world

I'm determined to see this band if it's the last thing I do. I won't consider that I've lived until I've seen them.

I have missed them so many times.

Anyone have any news of a concert coming up? Don't laugh.

I'm getting so desperate I'd consider seeing a tribute band, but that would be desperate, unless it was one I'd put together ;)

To be honest, you've come to this site at the wrong time too..
Once upon a time it was actually run by the group and was updated faily regularly. Even when they were on downtime they would offer us "olive branches" until something worthwhile came along..
This site is now run by Geffen/Universal (who the band are no longer signed to)and has more or less been left in a state of disrepair..
Don't be disheartened by this, though. Go to http://craigjparker.blogspot.com. (fomerly known as chainofflowers.com) It is a very reputable fan blog which has been in operation since '96. The person behind it has a "rapport" with the band, which is well respected by the people who frequent there and quite often information is more likely to end up there before it comes here.. :p
In the past six months a few "hints" have been left as to how the band's new project is taking shape, but nothing has officially come out. At the moment the hype for the Disintegration remaster is building. I think this will be a big year for The Cure with the remaster and "other things" coming up this year could be used as leverage for a new album sooner than we think..
I would be very surprised if they didn't tour in the next twelve to eighteen months.. We'll just have to wait until we hear something more official..

PS: upcoming gigs by various Cure tribute bands around the world are often posted on COF (chainofflowers.com) too so keep an eye out!!

I've never seen a Cure tribute band, i have chances to befire...i dunno, i don't have anything against but because i have seen The Cure Live fully...i'll wait for that before i go to one
