How about a Bside's Tour

Wouldn't that be awesome?
I mean, its not like I don't enjoy regular tours, but after a decent amount of them one starts to kind of want something else. Plus, they'd be one of the first "big bands" to do something like that, wouldn't they? So much for that "Grafeful Dead" spirit ...

So, what do you say? Share your opinion!

Re: How about a Bside's Tour

Sounds like a great idea to me! :)

I'm a bit of a late-comer to the b'sides - I was familiar with some of the old b'sides from the Staring at the Sea double cassette I had as a pre-teen (showing my age) but recently purchased Join the Dots and I'm loving all those I missed out on inbetween!

But to be honest - I'm not fussy - I'd be blissfully happy with any tour of any kind!

Re: How about a Bside's Tour

Maybe not all b-sides.... Just mix them in. "Lament", "Exploding Boy", "Splintered In Her Head" would be fantastic!!!

Re: How about a Bside's Tour

I'd love some b-sides to be played live! They, for me, can often be better than the album songs ;-)

Re: How about a Bside's Tour

I agree, sometimes they are even better :)
Anyway, seems like the people in general are not too impressed with the idea :(
Too bad... cause it would be awesome!

Re: How about a Bside's Tour

I think it would be a great idea :) I love so many of the b-sides. I think it would be great if they did a main set of b-sides, maybe a few rarely played album tracks mixed in. and then a couple of encores of singles, perhaps some rarely performed ones :)
Which b-sides would you want to hear? What about soundtrack songs?
Mine would be :

Just One Kiss (my absolute favorite)
Lament
Stop Dead
Breathe
A Chain of Flowers
Burn
Dredd Song
Home
Waiting
This Twilight Garden
Play
Down Under
This Morning
Ocean

It's so hard to choose :)

Re: How about a Bside's Tour

A Bside's tour would be epic, some of the bside's are better than the Asides anyway (Sorry), and I think that would be awesome. Sounds good, they should give it a shot, they have enough bsides as it is and if the added rarities, cover versions and stuff like that then it'd be awesome. :)and they'd be the first band to do that (I think?) xx

I much prefer the b-sides as opposed to the ones they released as singles ;-) I certainly don't recall any other bands doing a b-sides tour. If only! :-)
