Did your 10 year old enjoy the shows?

I'm still in awe :)

My child has no taste in music

He didn't go to the shows. He thought listening to the cure for 3+ hours would be sooo boring! I have had to accept that I can't force him to like the music I like (which is very disappointing.) He hung out with his uncle instead. The first night they saw Pirates of the Carribean, the second night they went 10 pin bowling.
I dragged him backstage after the show ~ that's why he was so cranky! Poor child ~ FORCED to meet the Cure! ;)

Why didn't you drag me in with you? I wouldn't have been
cranky.

Reflections was brilliant :) You are both so lucky to be able to go backstage, how did you manage that? Did you know the right people?

Re: A huge thanks to The Cure!!!!

true Travisdodd, It's fair enough that he was cranky (although we weren't on NSW time ~ it was still plenty late enough)!
Pay-back time! for making me do stuff between 0500 and 0830 for all those years! ;)

I think we all wish our parents had taken us to see the cure as kids! :)

I think it has a good effect on Xavier's interest in the cure! :)
He hasn't been compaining when I play Cure, I think he's even listening to it!
He has also been asking questions about the bandmembers. Including;
"So what to the Cure do when they're not performing or making music?"
"Do the cure have jobs?"
(neither of which I can really answer ~ So I said he will have to ask them next time! :) (hee hee, being hopeful and thinking positive)

I'm hoping his interest continues to develop. :)

Reflections Concert on Youtube...OMG :)

Anyone else's jaw drop when you saw Roger O'Donnell and Laurence Tolhurst on stage? It's so nice to see "the cure family" all together... is Porl Thompson ok? :(

I was just browsing Youtube and i couldn't believe my eyes! I knew this concert was taking place in Sydney - the other side of the world away from here, but nothing about this... are we to expect another Trilogy DVD? :)
