Is 4:13 Dream really referencing someone's phone number?

No idea why the album is called so....yes, bad Cure fan, why haven't i read smeg of stuff concerning this....i was listening to the album:-)

I thought the 13 was because it was their 13th studio album... Not sure about the 4 though.

Yes, and maybe the 4 is a reference to the current number of band members? Like the 4 tour? Or, maybe Robert had a dream, woke up and looked at the clock and the time was 4:13...

ohh yeah, I didn't think about that. The 13th album... the 4 band members that maybe they feel work the best together... They're at the stage that maybe they've all dreamed of... Could be!

Maybe 13 is for the date Robert and Mary were married--August 13th. And the 4 is the number of decades they've known each other?

I've read before that a lot of Robert's songs are influenced by his dreams. It wouldn't surprise me if he had a great dream, went to write it down and noticed the time. Then thought, "4.13 Dream? I could use that, that's good that!"

That's what I always thought of it anyways!

I dunno about this, but my friend says that it could reference to Philippians 4:13 "I can do everything through him who gives me strength." I don't think that's the case, because Robert isn't religious at all, but it's a theory.

I think it's a reference to Swiss psychiatrist Carl Jung who " emphasized understanding the psyche through exploring the worlds of dreams, art, mythology, religion and philosophy" and also thought balance and harmony could be achieved by bringing together the conscious and unconscious; in a hypnogogic state between waking and sleeping.

Hmm... I always figured it was because of 4 band members, and the 13th [studio] album.

I really like the idea of Robert waking up at 4.13! It has sense to me! xD
