FOREVER IN THE DARK ALBUM

THE CURE could put on their "dark album" the last and final version of the song "FOREVER" I find excellent in previous eras but have been playing forever ... with different lyrics and be a success if the cure add a remastered AND RE-recorded of the song "forever"

That would be majorly awesome, i only managed to get this track (i have All I want To Do Is Killer Her) by a bad download, but i love to hear it in its full Cure glory.
Also......wonder when the last time was they played it live?

Wow! That would be lovely!

I think they should release a studio/finalized version of Forever as a like mail order only release for the fans. just the song it self... maybe another song also.. i dunno

but yeah that would be awesome

Its on the Top and Faith albums. They're both on the Deluxe Editions as bootlegs but they're really good quality. You should check them out. The one from The Top is about 5 mins long and the Faith one is around 10 mins!

Really? God i feel stupid! i only have Porngraphy Deluxe, i soooo want to get the rest but they cost a bomb and the only place worth buying them is itunes where the deals are better, but you don't get all the cool cases and artwork. It sounds like a song that would fit more on Faith than The Top...okay , Cure wish-list-ever growing. Thanks, i might spend the 79p on itunes to get a clearer version :-)

I was looking at the Faith and Head on the Door deluxes on Ebay, they were around a fiver each so I got all excited but they shot up to £12 or so at the end...

Ohh that would be SO cool! I love Forever... it's such a beautiful track :)

Also, the Faith deluxe is VERY worth it!! I mean, the album itself is amazing, but the bootlegs and demos have such great sounds..... Same with Seventeen Seconds :D

Forever is a great song...

I got the Faith deluxe as a gift for Christmas. I now need The Top deluxe...

doubtful, but maybe; IF it's the last track on the 'arty' / 'dark album'... that will be a just reason b'coz y'all keep refering it 'dark' album... dark, b'coz it'll be their last. gawd, i hope not...

Forever is good as a cd ender but I'd rather have All I want/have to do is kill her...I have it on a bootleg and it's actually alot like Forever but better.

The track entitled 'The scream' on 4:13 DREAM is a re-recorded version of 'Forever'...I think.

nonono, itunes is not a better deal, not better than anywhere, even the universal music site has the reissues going for a tenner, and you get all the books and pictures, and a REAL cd, to hold, and look at, or put on a shelf, itunes is a very expensive way to buy music, and when you do, it's not even yours! you borrowed it.

This may have been addressed before, but did The Cure ever record a studio version of Forever? (Aside from the Peel sessions I mean.) Some bootlegs claim to include "studio" versions of Forever but I don't know if they're legitimate or not.
