I was just wondering why he sings flicka,flicka in the song the caterpillar. Becouse i'm from Sweden, and in sweden flicka=girl. So i am just courious,why doesn't he just sing: girl,girl,girl here you are? Excuse my bad english. Quote

Hey guys!i'm new here and been a curelover for awhile.

I was just wondering why he sings flicka,flicka in the song the caterpillar. Becouse i'm from Sweden, and in sweden flicka=girl.

So i am just courious,why doesn't he just sing: girl,girl,girl here you are?

Maybe he knew what it meant in Sweden, haha. I dunno, but I always thought that he was singing it because butterflies flutter away sounding like "flicka." I have no idea though. Quote

I agree. Butterflies flick their wings as in "Flicka Flicka Flicka here you are"...."You FLICKER and you're beautiful". Just like he sings "Cata Cata Cata Caterpiller girl".
