I've spent the last 2 days extracting the audio from live Youtube videos and putting them on my phone. I can now have the best Cure songs live any damn place I like!!! Yay! (Why are some videos being taken off Youtube? There was a brilliant live version of Sinking at the Nurburgring 17 odd years ago, with the sun sparkling off Robert's guitar, and it's gone now...sniff...) Quote

Gotta love technology!

I've spent the last 2 days extracting the audio from live Youtube videos and putting them on my phone. I can now have the best Cure songs live any damn place I like!!! Yay!

(Why are some videos being taken off Youtube? There was a brilliant live version of Sinking at the Nurburgring 17 odd years ago, with the sun sparkling off Robert's guitar, and it's gone now...sniff...)

That's a awesome idea!

to answer your question, it's because labels are getting picky over anything that uses songs by their bands

That's a awesome idea! to answer your question, it's because labels are getting picky over anything that uses songs by their bands I've done this with my ipod, its awesome, if you have a video ipod you can watch them as well if you get the right programme and you figure out (i somehow managed to do it). I've found that even though there's a smeg load of video that have been pulled from youtube, if you go to myspace video there's still a ton there...don't know about the labels or coryright but they have ben pulled from there.
