Pick ONE track from each album!

Here's a fun game. Pick ONE favourite track from each album, go in chronological order! If you find it hard to decide, think if you had to keep just one song from each album, which would it be?

Here's mine...

Three Imaginary Boys: 10:15 Saturday Night

Boys Don't Cry: Jumping Someone Else's Train

Seventeen Seconds: M

Faith: The Holy Hour (This one was really hard to decide!!)

Pornography: Cold (closely followed by A Strange Day)

The Top: Bananafishbones!

The Head on the Door: Push!

Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me: All I Want (very closely followed by The Kiss!)

Disintegration: Fascination Street (okay THIS one was tough, but WHAT a song!!)

Wish: Open

Wild Mood Swings: Want (what can I say, they're good at openers!)

The Cure: Us or Them (I need more experience with this album before this is final, I don't own it or know it too well...)

4:13 Dream: It's Over (amazing, "Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me" styled stuff, love it!)

Faith- Primary. you are right this is a tough one
Pornography- The figurehead( just edges out Cold) Favourite album so another tough one.
Japanese Whispers- Just One Kiss
The Top- The Top another one i found hard, a few contenders.
Head On The Door- Sinking
Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me- The Kiss
Disintegration- Pictures of you ( depends on the mood, oh and ive decided youre a bastard for making me do this :)
Wish- From The Edge Of The Deep Green Sea
Wild Mood Swings- Want ( Still not really listened to this properly)
Bloodflowers- Watching Me Fall
The Cure- Us Or Them ( same as WMS)

I'm in the UK so Three Imaginary Boys counts by default! Heh. But you're right, I completely forgot Bloodflowers, really weird because that's the album I was listening to while writing the post! Well, here ya go:

Bloodflowers: Maybe Someday (What a great song! Has that classic chord progression which is overused but still lovely to hear, puts me in mind of one of Akira Yamaoka's songs from the Silent Hill series)

Yeah its a fuckin brilliant idea on paper, but actually doing it is a real test, i could switch around a number of my choices and be fine, just too hard to give definitive answers.

Three Imaginary Boys/Boys Don't Cry: Subway Song (creeeepy...)
Seventeen Seconds: A Forest
Faith: All Cats Are Grey (Atmospheric, spiritual, almost mystically desolate...)
Pornography: Pornography (sound and fury and absolute darkness...I love it...)
The Top: The Caterpillar (A song that always gets me up!)
The Head On The Door: Sinking (incredibly mature for them to be singing/playing about the weariness of age when they were in their mid-20's, I reckon)
Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me: The Kiss (hard one, Like Cockatoos is brilliant as well)
Disintegration: Disintegration (wins out over The Same Deep Water As You by a hair. But when something connects with me on such a personal level, when a piece of music is played with such heart that I can literally feel it coming apart, I can't really deny it, can I?)
Wish: End (my first Cure song EVER, it remains my favorite. To me, it encapsulates the very essence of modern day life)
Wild Mood Swings: Strange Attraction
Bloodflowers: Bloodflowers (what can I say? I love title tracks! A very dualistic and 'epic' song)

Three Imaginary Boys - Three Imaginary Boys (Another Day was a close runner up)
Boys Don't Cry - Jumping Someone Else's Train (Plastic Passion the other r.u.)
Seventeen Seconds - At Night (I love the album as a whole piece, but Simon Gallups fuzz bass and that atmosphere is just really amazing)
Faith - All Cats Are Grey (this song more than anything really sums up this album if you absolutely had to do it in just one song)
Pornography - A Short Term Effect (before the Deluxe remastering I would have said 100 Years, and I do think it rightfully should still be the representative song from the record, however I noticed so many new sonic details with ASTE that really gets to me)
Japanese Whispers - The Upstairs Room
The Top - Shake Dog Shake (those guitars are soooooooo incredible)
Head On the Door - Screw (it's seriously so funky I love it, although i also LOVE The Blood and A Night Like This)
KMKMKM - Like Cocatoos (words can't describe my love for this song)
