Actually I hope it is some new songs :) I wonder if it will be the "dark album" i am sure that by now, since it has been several years since the start of the 4:13 Dream project, that Robert wants to move on. So maybe he will just put out the rest of the songs in this manner to get them out into the market as soon as possible

I still would like to hear a new single! I would love to see The Cure make it into the pop charts again :) maybe with a Tim Pope video?

You're not making it up:)

But it wasn't because they're "getting old";) It's because the last batch didn't get a lot of play, I think, and it seemed a waste of time.

I'd love to see the alternate videos for 4:13 Dream that the band's friends and family shot.

Yeah I actually liked the Alt.End video quite a lot, but even the ones that came just before the self-titled album like Never Enough and Wrong Number *cough Tim Pope* were just ... better in my opinion. :)

I didn't know they had alternate ones! It would be really cool to see those :D

I was thinking more along the lines of what they did for the first four remaster albums..
Entitled 4play, they chose the title track from each album, Robert did a spiel about it before they re recorded it and released it to tie in with the batch of remasters they released..
So if this were the case they would do The Top through Disintegration..

whoa! dood you're right. The 4 Play was kind of an E.P., Hynogognic States is an E.P. (but just really mixes of The Cure by other bands so...)so you're saying they've re-relased old Cure song versions on 4 Play with the current 4 TOUR line-up? 4 Play is still available for retail? How can I get to hear some of that?

How about it then, a full & proper E.P. by The Cure & not just re-hashed remixes of The Cure singles by other bands; since there was only 1 B-side per 1 (13th) mix of all 4 singles of 4:13 Dream. doood! what if The Cure added to the finale a dreamy 5th track of really long timelenght like that of 65DOS.... Go Team Cure Go

You could put in a request at iTunes I'm sure they should still have it somewhere or I'm sure someone will have it up on cyberspace somewhere.. I have a copy, I could get it to you somehow :p

Why wouldn't the EP just be kept up there??
Is it because it was an 'iTunes Exclusive'?
Anyways, back on topic, if my theory is correct, I wonder if they'll get Mike Hedges to produce the next batch..
