KEYBOARDS AGAIN PLEASE!!!

Most typical Cure atmospheres and icon-songs have been made with keyboards.
I can't listen at PORNOGRAPHY/17 SECONDS or DISINTEGRATION tracks without keyboards... Changes are always welcome, that's OK, but please!!-- Consider definitively keyboards back in your works, a lot of people miss them so much :-(

I am a fan of both with keyboards and without. I love the heaviness and depth the keyboards bring to a live show, but the rawness of the guitars without the keyboards is incredible too.

I agree, Drea... I like Disintegration A LOT, but Wish era with no keyboards and a bigger guitar sound was also great :)

Although it might be nice to hear some new keyboard melodies again... I know Roger won't come back (...right? *scratches head*) but Simon and Robert both play I think :D

Yes! Exactly, And get Lol back on the drums, or hell a drum machine would be better than jason.

To bad Rodger is all pissed off though keys are nice

Even guitarist Porl Thompson, who had re-joined the Cure for the third time in 2005, could play keyboards as well as the saxophone.

But what about Matthieu Hartley? Have they reconciled with him recently?

Is that falling out between Roger and the rest of the band still happening? I really wish Roger would re-join them.

Jason is not a bad drummer or Robert wouldn't have kept him.

I only wonder if all drums are played live because I recall seeing One hundred years drumming start with Jason his arms not moving for the first couple of beats and Robert seemed cross.

Whatever it's what it is. You can choose to argue endlessly or just accept the Cure as is now. I'm happy with the line-up , I have always been happy with the line-up.

I have always liked the keyboards in the Cure sound but going in a new keyboardless direction is fine by me as well. Still noticed some keyboardish effects on 4:13 , I think in that respect making music has changed a lot once computers really came into the picture. In 1989 during Disintegration there were less options I think. (But I confess I'm not a connaisseur)

I agree that keyboards would be a welcome re-addition. As for drums, I'm not going to get into that can of worms again ;-)
