looking for the "a forest at night" or "pre-version" lyrics

hello community,
im looking for the lyrics of the first "a forest" version of 1979? is called "at night"! is anyone here who can post it?? Mr.Smith can't . i do not find it under words ( only the words of a forest. maybe mr.smith has forgotten his own words?? im a great german fan of his music!! this site is great, but i can't find this first "lyrics" version of this song. only what i find after hours of surfing in the internet is a video with that lyrics. thats called "pre version (Paris 1979 - Theatre de Lempire). can u help me?? best regards,ziggy

the problem is, my location is DE and i hear what he sing,but my english is not the best. maybe u can help couse ur location is GB. if u want a german lyric from heino(a german Folksinger) i will post it couse i am all understand what he sings. is it possible that u understand(see u-tube link above) all these words he sing?? so please post it :-)Greets from germany,Ziggy

Hello my friend.
I feel your plight, as I have been searching for ages to find the lyrics myself.
Over time, listening again and again as I would search things began to just jump out and I was able to discern about 90% of them (I think)
Check this.....

Sound down there
Will lead you up uphill
Crack down check(?)
In your sight
Let's all unwind(?)

That's pretty damn close good luck with the rest,
and or confirmation, etc.
It's such an amazing version.
I love them both equally but if I could only listen to one for the rest of my life, it would be the At Night Version.
