Re: Wish Remaster/Deluxe Edition... coming soon? Open letter to Universal Music Group (UMG):
UMG Dear Sirs, I write a humble fan of the band The Cure, and more specifically about his great series of Deluxes editions of some of the most representative artists that their "major" has been recently purchased. First, we have to thank them, because it is thanks to You, which has been re-edit all the old stuff from The Cure since its inception in 1979 with "Three Imaginary Boys" (re-released by UMG in 2004) to the more recent "Disintegration" (re-released by UMG in 2010).With Deluxe editions, we can enjoy CD quality unreleased tracks and many rarities not-published to date!
The Cure published in 1992 with Fiction Records, one of his best and most successful albums comprising all his extensive discography: "Wish". 2012 marks an anniversary for the group led by Robert Smith, the 20th anniversary summit of this album in the discography of The Cure: "Wish", which contains some of his most representative songs like "Friday, I'm Love" or "A Letter To Elise" and a lot of good new songs composed between 1991-93 and rarities such as "Lost Wishes" instrumental demos and live versions of other live albums "Show" and "Paris" .
From Hispacure, please take into account this anniversary and we celebrate the twentieth anniversary, by the end of 2012, a legendary album in the history of the Cure and music in general: "Wish".
Sincerely, a spanish fan
