What is your favorite Cure song for Halloween? My favorite is the Drowning Man. That song is exquisite and utterly goth! The song starts out at a slow tempo and continues that way, but slowly grows in intensity, creeping up on you, getting closer, under your skin, until it completly fills you up and you are lost under it's spell! Halloween in Cure Land

It's almost Halloween, the time of year when my gothic tendencies run wild! :) The Cure provide endless mood music for this time of year.(and any time of year.) What is your favorite Cure song for Halloween? My favorite is the Drowning Man. That song is exquisite and utterly goth! The song starts out at a slow tempo and continues that way, but slowly grows in intensity, creeping up on you, getting closer, under your skin, until it completly fills you up and you are lost under it's spell!

Footsteps following closer and constantly behind you, do you dare turn around for a look?.. then suddenly AAHHH! What happened? We shall never know! "The Drowning Man", for me has always been a song laden with despair. Dark, haunting, and desperate. It's so beautiful, and one of my true favorites. I also like "Witchcraft" as a song for the season . I just imagine Robert singing with a zombie band, in dusty tuxedos, big hair, dark eyes, and cobwebs :) Quote

Hooray, another Halloween fan! A lovely Halloween to you! I've always liked "Subway Song" as a creepy song. Footsteps following closer and constantly behind you, do you dare turn around for a look?.. then suddenly AAHHH! What happened? We shall never know! "The Drowning Man", for me has always been a song laden with despair. Dark, haunting, and desperate. It's so beautiful, and one of my true favorites. I also like "Witchcraft" as a song for the season . I just imagine Robert singing with a zombie band, in dusty tuxedos, big hair, dark eyes, and cobwebs :)

Robert versus the spiders! Robert always had a fear of spiders. I agree, Lullaby and its video are perfect for Halloween ^ The video is perfect, I could watch it for hours :P... here in Italy we don't celebrate Halloween much, but I love the creepy atmosphere that there is in Milan in this period of the year! :) Subway Song is beautiful too...it should last more than 2 minutes! I agree, Lullaby and its video are perfect for Halloween *^* The video is perfect, I could watch it for hours :P... here in Italy we don't celebrate Halloween much, but I love the creepy atmosphere that there is in Milan in this period of the year! :)
Subway Song is beautiful too...it should last more than 2 minutes! At least 5, it's too much short :(
What about Three Imaginary Boys? I like the lyrics, this song gives me a great sense of mistery and ....I don't know...restlessness :P

I dare you to Google it. It will make you puke! Poor Robert :( They're just too disturbing for me. I forgot about "Lullaby". A fine creepy song indeed. My favorite scene of that video is at the end when Robert wears a Victorian looking suit and is almost transparent/ghostly. Meoww :) Perhaps a video to Witchcraft? I can dig it! Quote

Torture or A Thousand Hours always spark my imagination, but for a halloween party track Freakshow has to be on the playlist! love that song...it can't all be gloomy..
