Addressing the white elephant in the room

The white elephant in the room is going to be brought up sooner or later, so I'll just jump in here. I know you ignored/froze this subject before, IGA, but if I don't ask it, others will.

We need to know who the mods are/if the old mods have been removed.

This isn't a discussion of what the mods did, or who took whose ice cream, or anything else.

This isn't about blaming anyone or confronting anyone or anything else. I'm not opening that discussion again.

But no matter how shiny the site is, there are those who will not be comfortable posting here, or have confidence in this site, if the "old guard" is still at the controls.

We need to know who's behind the curtain so we can make an informed decision if we'd like to participate here or not.

Thanks. Meri.

Re: Addressing the white elephant in the room

you just beat me to it Meri..
yes, for the GOOD of THIS forum, it would be greatly appreciated if you could confirm for the members that the previous moderator is no longer in control.
If you, IGA tell us that he isn't, we can all move on, and thoroughly enjoy the "new" forum.... that's all we need.
thankyou in advance,
A large group of Cure lovers.

Re: Addressing the white elephant in the room

I think we'll be waiting until hell freezes over to get an answer to this one...

but, then again, to get the board humming along again, with everyone feeling confident that they are actually safe from a person who may take a personal dislike to them... as mods MUST be impartial, fair and balanced in their views... IGA could set our minds at rest...
please...
:)

Re: Addressing the white elephant in the room

yes..this is ONE of the most important questions,so the forum can actually function without any more suspicions, fears, or doubts... we see GH often, down the bottom of the page, and I think people need and want to know exactly how the moderation of this forum is going to proceed.
Whilst we have been told GH no longer has "powers" to delete and ban, only an official statement re the running of our forum will put our minds at rest.
Please, address this issue as a matter of priority..

Re: Addressing the white elephant in the room

Yes. As mentioned before, none of the cosmetic changes matter even remotely much as this one does.

The administrators' failure to respond to this question, when it has been posed for weeks on end, speaks to the site's current lack of integrity. It needs to be addressed.
