good video! clearly we can see and hear what a difference a drummer can make in a band. Lol's energy was vital for The Cure. if a drummer is lazy and weak then the band suffers

You are completely wright mate ! Lol, Andy and Boris are the ONLY GOOD Drumers The Cure ever had ! Ever since, the band has slowed down on rythm and groove ! I have been on the Reflections shows, RAH, and NYC Beacon shows. You could clearely feel the energy was missing the groove not improving for the sake of the songs. There is a difference between high energy and low. The first ever show i went to, was at the Pavillon Baltard in France, i was 14 at the time, it's my brother who took me over to see the band. To me Jason never found his place in the band, a drummer should always "pull" the band up and never take them down in time !

totally agree with you. Jason doesn't have any energy and I notice he repeats the same beats (they are called drum fills I think) in every song. also he is slow and doesnt have a good sound. he always looks nervous or worried for something and never does anything interesting like boris or lol who played all cats are grey and primary with accuracy and power.
