Can you tell me if The Cure is ever going to come to Australia?
I'm a MASSIVE Cure fan, and was hoping they'd be coming here at some point in the near future.

oldfan50 oldfan50 Joined: 6/30/2009 Posts: 126 Location: London, UK	Re: Australia Hi, i think if they do a big tour they probably will, ive read on some of the posts from aussie fans they were there 2 years ago. also depends where you live. i lived in perth years ago, and they were touring in 92 but perth was left out as it is quite a lot cos its just seen as too far away and the smallest population. what we did though one of the record shops that sold cure and alternative music found out if we could start a petition and get at least 10,000 signatures they would include perth. well we did it, we had car stickers saying "we need a cure tour" so it didnt take long for the word to get around. i slept outside the entertainment centre with my 15 year old son and we got tickets. it was july so it rained non stop and was freezing cold, but it was sold out within 2 hours. it was well worth it. but like i said they know they have loads of fans in oz, so keep your fingers crossed and im sure you will get to see them. could be sooner than you think. :-) Quote

It's been quite a while since they last dropped a word..So, you sound quite sure about future tours.
