letter to robert from a devoted fan- robert pls read {crossed fingers for luck}Robert, I might not be your so called "Biggest or most fanatical fan" but I DO absolutely love you to death!- FACT!!...which is why I am posting this in the FAQ section of this forum.
I just want to start off by saying THANKYOU for sharing your beautiful poetry and inner emotions with the world. The Cure has really become a cure for me! I found your amazing band about 3 months ago and its really medicated me thru a horrible breakup and many dark depressed moments.
Thinking of you honestly puts a smile on my face, even when im feeling quite gloomy. Your charming voice has a phenomenal effect on me. And your cute "Yeeea"'s make me giggle often! I cry a bit when watching your live concerts on youtube-i just want to be there so bad to see you in real life.
The first Cure song I ever heard was "Pictures of You." I listend to it over and over as i mourned over my ex fiance and how he betrayed me for another. Then i decided to look up the music vid for the song on youtube...When I first saw you, i was like- OMG! That man is f****** gorgeous! So of course i went on to listen to more songs and watch more videos. And well, You totally rock!!!!

I hope to see you in concert one day. It makes me sad to know that ive missed so many of your concerts.
Many of your songs reminds me of past relationships and such but "Strange Attraction" actually makes me think of you. ;-P I take the song as if your speaking about an imaginary relationship with someone you want to be with in reality but cant - so then I think of me and how most nights before bed fantasise about like meeting you at a concert and then us falling in love. (lol) And I dream like that till I fall asleep.
You have inspired me to pick up an instrument- keyboard and eventually guitar. I learned how to play "Just like heaven" the other day on the keyboard. Totally stoked about that! =D

ya know,... Its hard to find guys that dress like you = ( at least where I live- redneck state, north carolina. Black eyeliner and long messy hair is dead sexy! Your persona is so alluring; you are so cool! Your lyrics prove that you are passionate and loving.
