The Cure 4tour

Are there plans to release a DVD of the latest 4tour world tour???

Good Christ I hope so. I went to the Wembley Arena gig in England and it was just incredible, check out the set list online for that gig...They played for almost 4 hours. A straight DVD of that entire show would do me!

The Phoenix show was amazing... they played The Figurehead and The Big Hand... incredible night... I hope some of it makes it on to the dvd if there is one

it was so incredible. they played for 3+ hours in austin and their encore was basically the entire 3 imaginary boys album. spectacular.

A release of a Blu-Ray/DVD from the Paris 2008 @ Bercy show, was apparently in discussion... At least we know Robert took part for the music mixing for the TV broadcast versions of it.... Maybe something in early 2010?

Hi Gents,
the DVD is already done. I have been in Vienna last Sunday (16.08.09) and the 2008 concert in Paris Bercy was shown before Vienna Rathaus (check Internet).
Great Performance, best ever seen from Cure.
Wait ans see.

It was good to be able to see a different line up to the Dreamtour..
About the only gripe I have about the 4Tour was the fact we in Oz never heard any of the new material at the time when in places like the US and Rome (Rome got the entire frikken album!!) had at least one new single thrown in there..
I was lucky enough to hear the soundcheck before 4Tour too. Two shows for the price of one!!

According to the setlists, there were 3 different shows that rotated to a different one each night. It would HAVE to be at least 2 DVDs to include every song they did on this tour. The most amazing part was that the guitars played all the keyboad parts too. Didn't leave them out or slack in any way.
