I am looking for an UK publisher because I have lived all my life on the large Pacific Island of California, totally disconnected from the rest of the USA and where basically one half of the population has the tongue of the young pretty Princess of Spain. The other half has a tongue like Prince Harry.
Why nominate anyone for a CBE?
Anyone who thinks that Princess Di was killed by anything but a drunk driver needs to check their Richard III script at the door. The UK is a democracy now with a historic ornamental crown. I think they should decorate.
Why is my nomination of Robert Smith for an UK honour NOT racist or anti-arab?
The Cure's "Killing an Arab" is clearly theater, an artistic portrait of a character in a tale. The tale is "The Stranger" by Camus about a fellow who is a stranger to his own heart and thus kills another fellow carelessly, indiscriminately, indifferently, and heartlessly. He is later punished severely for doing that. There is no racism in the tale as told or sung. I could easily retell the story switching the races to an African American who kills an American Indian, or a Hawaiian who kills a German and the whole story would remain the same.
I actually think I will have to write one of those versions after I bake some cookies!
