What was I thinking??

Whilst sorting through stuff in the loft I found some vinyl singles, I can't believe I ever bought a record by Duran Duran, but there it is,I thought I was a much cooler teenager than that! Perhaps The Mission and Gene Loves Jezabel cancels it out, not sure though on listening to them... anything anyone else would rather forget?

Re: What was I thinking??

I had PJ & Duncan's album when I was a lot younger! Those who remember Byker Grove on tv will know who I mean, and realise just how sad this album ownership is lol!!!

Re: What was I thinking??

I will never regret the first album that I ever bought was Frank Zappa and The Mothers Of Invention's "Absolutely Free". I wish I still had it.

Re: What was I thinking??

Interesting question which got me thinking. I thought maybe Whitesnake, but then I listened to Here I Go Again and remembered how much it meant to me as a 15 year old. It summed up how I felt at the time and gave me strength. I'm thinking that everything I bought or taped had its purpose so I can say I regret nothing, although I've probably forgotten most of it!

Lily I went to a New Kids on the Block concert! And I love C&C Music Factory!

Re: What was I thinking??

I bought many, many Yngwie Malmsteen CDs and used to fast forward through the songs to listen to the guitar solos. Listening to the Cure is much more relaxing---no fast forwarding required!

I didn't know they did an album, I do remember them singing though, they are still very popular you could sell it on ebay to a super fan,!!LOL, My sister met Dec a couple of years ago whilst shopping,to be fair he let her boyfriend take their pic, she looks thrilled he looks petrified by her bear hug, eh no she's not a super fan..

Thankfully Duran Duran wasn't the first record I ever bought, it wasn't a cure record either though!

No way! I was so in love with NKOTB back then! hahah! But I was too young to see them when they came around my block..:( I was into C&C Music factory because they had great dance songs and I was a cheerleader around that time. House/party music was so big in the early 90's and it was fun :)

Can't help but love 90s dance music. The clubs I went to played The Cure as well :) Bit of a party town was Geelong.
